“My good experience with Rainie started from when I corresponded with her when looking for a cat sitter: she responded very promptly and was very agreeable for a meet and greet with my cat. Rainie approached the meet and greet like an interview; she is warm and funny but asked lots of relevant questions about his care and patterns. (He also liked her right away.) She came over when she said she would, and stuck to her word that she would go over at the same time of day in order to provide some consistency to my cat. I felt very comfortable having heard how attuned she was to his needs. All in all I found her very professional and I came home to the litter box in order and the apartment as I left it! About: I am a life long cat owner but have a particular love for working dog breeds. I have experience with blue heelers, labs, retrievers, greyhounds, and the occasional Belgian Malinois. I am comfortable walking, playing (including the extra mental stimulation working breeds require), feeding, and administering oral medication to well trained dogs. I am currently a part time student and full time cat owner. Outside of class/travel times, my schedule is flexible. I will only accept work for days/times I can be fully committed to what your pet needs. My two cats aren’t pets, they’re family. They each have their own personality, needs, and forms of communication. My older cat loves her sunny spots, chin scratches, cardboard scratching sled, and mint-sticks but will never chase after a toy (just treats). She has her routine and sticks to it. My younger cat is simultaneously skittish and demanding of butt-pats. I just need to pay attention to what she’s communicating. If it moves, she’ll chase it. Your cat would be like another family member with their own personalities that need to be learned and adapted to. Like cats, dogs have their own personalities and communication styles that need to be learned and understood. But there are also extra considerations depending on size and breed. Working dogs need exercise, games, and puzzles to solve. Some breeds just need to know you’re there for them. As a sitter, I would expect the owner to train their dog and make sure they have access to the space they need. As an owner, you should expect me give them the exercise, attention, and affection they need while maintaining the discipline you’ve taught them.

About: Dogs bring such joy! I believe they are gifts and we are lucky to have them in our lives. We currently have a spoiled Australian Shepherd. I have learned so much as an Aussie mom, and love sharing helpful info with other dog parents, especially if they have a herding breed. I love all dogs, no exceptions! They deserve to be spoiled and appreciated for who they are. I offer pet care in your home, where your pet is most comfortable. I also have my own pet care insurance, and am pet CPR and First Aid certified. I work full time in the upper valley and have a flexible schedule that allows me to work from home several days a week. If you have WiFi, I’m happy to work from your home to accommodate full-time snuggles and care for your pet while you’re away! I believe that dogs are part of the family. I love spending time with them, walking with them and helping them to socialize. They are gifts!

About: Hi, I’m Meredith! I work full-time in the dairy industry, but when I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me spending time with animals. I absolutely love dogs, but I’m not in a place to have one of my own right now, so I enjoy using my free time to walk, play with, and care for other people’s dogs. It’s the perfect way for me to get my dog fix while helping busy pet parents! I do have two cats at home who keep me entertained, and I’ve spent my life around animals of all kinds. I helped establish and lived on my parents’ bison farm and still help out there regularly. In addition to bison, I’ve cared for pigs, chickens, and goats, so I’m comfortable around a variety of animals and genuinely enjoy being around them. I also grew up riding horses and have extensive experience handling and caring for them. Being around animals my entire life has taught me how to recognize their individual personalities, respect their boundaries, and provide patient, attentive care. Whether your pet loves walks, playtime, or just having someone to keep them company, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I’d give my own. I know every pet has their own personality, and I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I work full-time in the dairy industry Monday through Friday, so I’m typically available for walks and drop-in visits in the evenings on weekdays. My weekends are generally much more flexible, allowing me to accommodate walks and drop-in visits. My schedule is usually consistent, and I’ll always communicate clearly with you about my availability. Unfortunately my apartment complex does not allow me to bring animals to my apartment. However, I am willing to travel to a clients home to care for their animals. I treat every client, their pets and their home with the utmost respect and care.
