“My good experience with Rainie started from when I corresponded with her when looking for a cat sitter: she responded very promptly and was very agreeable for a meet and greet with my cat. Rainie approached the meet and greet like an interview; she is warm and funny but asked lots of relevant questions about his care and patterns. (He also liked her right away.) She came over when she said she would, and stuck to her word that she would go over at the same time of day in order to provide some consistency to my cat. I felt very comfortable having heard how attuned she was to his needs. All in all I found her very professional and I came home to the litter box in order and the apartment as I left it! Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. I learned to advocate for dogs, look for health and safety warning signs and how to manage group dynamics. I am currently a *human* nurse and making time for animals because that is where I feel I really come alive. :) I believe that animals are part of the family and I will treat them like so. I have basic experience with dog training and I personally believe that dogs thrive in structured and predictable environments. I love exercising and having fun with dogs, too! I have availability to help you with your pup or cat! Depending on the health of your pet I will socialize and exercise your pet's body and mind and of course offer any snuggles that are welcomed. I love exercising animals as much as it is tolerated by them. I currently work per diem as a staff nurse in Lebanon NH which gives me a lot of flexibility to care for pets. I am happy to abide by your house rules and expectations for your pet(s). I enjoy walks to dog parks, trails, playing in fenced yards and practicing obedience and tricks!

“Abby is quick to respond and is a great communicator. We had a meet and greet before my time away, she met my 3 cats and learned their routine and listened to my care instructions. I got messages and pictures daily. I came home to a clean apartment. She went above and beyond. She took out my trash and swept up around the litter robot. This made my arrival home after 13 hours of travel easy and a relief! She was diligent to make sure the litter robot had enough litter, the water drinking fountain had enough water and my kitties got play time. My pets and home were in great hands. About: I grew up with dogs. I had my own since I had my own place. I had a Siberian Husky and a Shiba Inu at the same time so I am no stranger to noise, stubbornness and cute shenanigans. I work full time in West Lebanon NH. I’m usually free around 4:00pm onward for week days and completely open on Weekends. Perfect you to enjoy a date night or have a weekend away! About: Hi there! I am 30 and I live in Springfield, VT and work in WRJ. So my radius is quite large. I have a 6 year old golden pup (as seen in photos) named Burton and also take care of my in laws cat, Middy. I grew up in Vermont on a small farm with 3 dogs (Pitbull and labs) and 2 cats. I currently have a pup, Burton. Who gets along with all dogs and people. Depending on your pets personality, I will be sure to be active with them. Our pup Burton gets 4 walks a day and typically goes for a swim once a day at a nearby kayak launch. I fully believe pets should have a significant amount of play + active time whether its a walk or drop in visit, they will have fun. I do work in WRJ from 8-5pm but I do have lunches available and we do have flexible time. I work a hybrid schedule MTW in office which is only 6 minutes from my house. I always do a walk at Thompson's Field in the morning, 1 mile walk at lunch, 1-2 mile walk at dinner and a simple walk late at night just before bed. My dog is super friendly and my roommate also loves dogs, so no matter what your dog should be preoccupied. If anything I have a large crate available to keep them safe.
