About: Hi, I'm Lydia! Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I grew up in a home with two dogs and a cat. Since college, I have pet sat and dog walked consistently, and I kept it up all through my master's program and now medical school! My goal is always to make sure your pet feels seen, comfortable, and cared for like they're my own. 🐾 I am currently a medical student, but my schedule is flexible and I am in town most weekends! During the weekdays, I am free for early morning walks/feeding, midday lunch drop-ins, and late afternoon/evening visits. I will treat your pet and house with the respect they deserve! Whether that means wiping muddy paws at the door, cleaning up thoroughly after your pet, or simply leaving no trace and leaving your home exactly as I found it. I am also a big believer in clear communication. I will promptly reach out with questions, keep you looped in on how they’re doing, and immediately notify you of any changes. About: My experience comes from caring for my own dogs and dog sitting big dogs for friends who don't want their pups to stay in their comfy familiar home while they are away. I've owned labs, huskies, shepherds and collies. Most recently I had two collies that have travelled with me around the world. Sadly both have passed recently So I'm without a dog of my own but love having them around. I am happy to meet new dogs of all ages and breeds. I love large dogs too but my place may be too small for some but I'm happy to meet up and see what works. I work from home a lot and am very flexible to drop in or take your pup(s) for a walk. I run most days and can have pups join if that's something they like. I am very cautious about dog handling and will follow your instructions. I will only care for dogs in my home after I've taken care of them at your home and I am familiar enough with the dog so that I am sure it will be ok in a new space and that I can accommodate its needs.
About: I have had dogs my whole life. I worked at a doggy day care facility for 5 years and gained a ton of experience with dogs of all sized and temperaments! We have had 10 foster dogs in recent years who have taught me a lot! My current dog keeps me very active and we love long walks, hikes and the beach! My schedule is currently wide open. My dog is my everything and yours will get the same love and care while with me! We do long walks when temperatures allow and brief outdoor breaks during the day to stay cool and get in some exercise! I live in an apartment that is very walkable and has many parks around! My dog is a great playmate for other female dogs, and does good with most boys as well. We love long walks on the many trails in the area and love to explore!
