Trustworthy and caring cat lover!
I was fortunate enough to be born into a cat family; in my early childhood we had four cats who I loved dearly. I feel like they were the ones who taught me early on about patience and how strong of a connection you can form with animals. My family has two cats now, including my best friend (and who I call my “soul cat”) Aurora. While my cats have always lived primarily with my parents, I consider them my own too even when I lived in my own apartment. Between living with cats and cat sitting for multiple family friends, I’ve gained a lot of experience in reading their energy and caring for them as they need. I have experience caring for the dog-like cats who are very welcoming to everyone, happy to be pet wherever, and just want to show affection. I have even more experience with shy and/or scared kitties, who need to feel safe and gain trust in their caretaker. I can easily the body language of your cat and proceed with caretaking in a way to ensure they feel comfortable. Your cat being well cared for is my main focus, while I also prioritize gaining their trust and following their lead.

I respect the boundaries cats have and aim to focus on ensuring they can trust me. Especially early on in meeting a cat, I focus on their body language and proceed with allowing them to get my scent as they allow. I have experience with owning sneaky kitties that try to run through open doors, so I am very mindful when I enter and leave a house. At the moment, I unfortunately do not offer boarding at my house.

Jamie is great! As her profile shows she has a great understanding of cats. She knows how to approach them, their behaviors, and what to look out for. My cats warmed up to her instantly. Her knowledge is apparent in her notes which are detailed. She was able to get even better pictures of them than me. She was easy to work with and has an overall bright personality. I would definitely book with her again and recommend her to other pet parents.
Jaimie is the definition of a animal lover. She has gained the trust of my family’s cats who tend to keep their distance from those who don’t live in the house hold. Every cat I have seen her interact with she has had a very good sense of their body language. It’s clear that she respects all animals and their boundaries. All in all, Jaimie would be the first person I would call if I needed a pet sitter.
I have to say, Jaimie is a warm, caring, and loving individual. She loves cats and is deeply concerned with their wellbeing. She’s know how to navigate a cats temperament and personality. She is dependable and timely. She’s not a come and go type of person she will sit and spend time with your cat, as much as they allow. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
For the month of August, I will be fully available all days of the week as I’m off work before beginning graduate school in September. If there is a specific medicine/feeding schedule, please message me and I’d be happy to chat and see if I can accommodate :)
