About: Hi my name is Sean. I recently graduated from RIT with a BFA in illustration. I love all animals and currently have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets while I am working from home. I grew up with two labradoodles and I have also cared for friends' animals while they have been away. One of my dogs has Addison's disease, so I am familiar with giving medication to pets. Spending time with animals brings me joy and does not seem like work - I enjoy playing with your animals, going on walks and I give a great belly rub! I am extremely responsible and will love your animals like my own...you might also find some sketches of your pet when you return home. I am an artist that is currently working from home in Quechee. I am extremely flexible and am available during the week and on weekends. I make my own hours so can work around your schedule. I live with my parents and two friendly labradoodles ages 8 and 12. I could board a dog in my home if he/she gets along well with other dogs and is house-trained. I prefer to care for your animals in your own home: I can do drop-in visits, walks and daytime or overnight house-sitting.
“Enzo can be a shy guy and a little nervous but Lauren did everything to make him feel comfortable including checking in with me, which I truly appreciate. He came home happy and tired and we would use Lauren again!”

I am so happy to now have a dog watcher that both Charlotte and I feel confident in! Thank you Sue and John!!!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was ten years old, and I absolutely love their company! I love caring for pets of all ages; our sweet rescue passed away a year ago, who we took in during her golden years, and now my wife and I have a 2.5 year old pup with an abundance of youthful energy. O she loves making new friends, and we would love to have some more dog time ourselves! We go on regular walks, play in the dog park at least once a day, and can handle any dietary, medical, or other type of need your little one has. I’m a paraprofessional; so I have summers off. I work freelance and gig jobs, which I mostly do from home and am used to scheduling around a dog care routine, as we have our own dog at home. I have a fenced yard, and our own dog to keep yours company! I have no issues following any boundaries you’d like me to follow with your pet: I’m happy to crate them when they need time to relax, keep them on or off leash as you prefer, and make sure they’re provided stimulation, play, and opportunities to earn treats!

“Omri was excellent, extremely responsive and offered fantastic care for our girls, Izzy and Asher! 10/10 recommend! will be using his services in the future! Thank you, Omri!”

“Caitlin was prompt and attentive. I appreciated the daily photos. Max looked relaxed and content. It was great to have our senior kitty looked after in our home, since he doesn’t like to travel at all.”

About: If my rates are an obstacle in caring for your pet then I’m happy to provide a sliding scale and have a discussion upon request. Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. I learned to advocate for dogs, look for health and safety warning signs and how to manage group dynamics. I am currently a *human* nurse and making time for animals because that is where I feel I really come alive. :) I believe that animals are part of the family and I will treat them like so. I have basic experience with dog training and I personally believe that dogs thrive in structured and predictable environments. I love exercising and having fun with dogs, too! I have availability to help you with your pup or cat! Depending on the health of your pet I will socialize and exercise your pet's body and mind and of course offer any snuggles that are welcomed. I love exercising animals as much as it is tolerated by them. I currently work per diem as a staff nurse in Lebanon NH which gives me a lot of flexibility to care for pets. I am happy to abide by your house rules and expectations for your pet(s). I enjoy walks to dog parks, trails, playing in fenced yards and practicing obedience and tricks!

“Megan was terrific! She's totally dependable and went above and beyond, even doing things for us we hadn't thought of. She took good care of our cat, and we couldn't be happier with her care! We will book her again. Thank you Megan.”

“Jordan from Rover was awesome!! The dogs liked her right away and had fun playing with her even when the outside weather was lousy. Her messages to us were great and we knew that everything was ok with our dogs. Will definitely call her again when we go out of town!”

About: Hello! I’m an enthusiastic cat lover with a special bond with my feline family, Raja and Abu. They’ve been my beloved companions for three wonderful years and counting. I’ve not only nurtured them with love and care but also taught them to be friends with dogs, demonstrating my ability to create a harmonious environment for diverse pets. As a dedicated pet sitter, I bring this same nurturing approach to every pet I care for. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or special needs, I ensure each pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved in their own home. My goal is to provide peace of mind to pet owners, knowing their furry friends are in good hands. I work full-time, but I can dedicate my Mondays and Tuesdays entirely to pet care. These days are reserved for pet-sitting duties, ensuring I provide the best care possible without the distraction of other work commitments. My flexible schedule on these days allows me to offer personalized, attentive care to each pet I look after. Throughout the week, I also manage my time effectively to check in on pets, respond to any urgent needs, and maintain communication with pet owners. My experience with my own cats, Raja and Abu, has taught me the importance of a consistent routine, which I bring to my pet-sitting services. This structured approach ensures that all pets receive the attention and care they deserve, regardless of my work schedule. My experience raising Raja and Abu as indoor cats has taught me the importance of providing the best life possible, which I extend to all pets in my care. Whether it’s through enrichment activities, maintaining a safe environment, or ensuring a loving and attentive atmosphere, I strive to give every pet a happy, fulfilling experience.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for most of my life, starting at age 16 when I helped my mom with dog sitting and house sitting. By the time I turned 18, I had built my own small client base and began independently caring for pets. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, and birds. My dog experience ranges from energetic puppies to senior dogs of all sizes. Many of the pets I’ve cared for have required daily medications, so I’m very comfortable managing medical routines and special care needs. I also have experience handling unexpected situations, including transporting pets to the veterinarian for emergencies while families are away, always keeping owners informed and their pets safe. I work full time at Dartmouth Hitchcock in the operating room, but my role is very flexible. I’m able to step away during the day for check-ins, walks, feedings, and potty breaks, and I can also work remotely when needed. This flexibility allows me to give pets consistent attention throughout the day rather than limiting care to early mornings or evenings. I’m very reliable with schedules and communication, and I make sure every pet I care for gets the time, attention, and love they deserve. At this time, I’m unable to offer dog sitting in my own home, as one of my dogs struggles to make new friends. I provide in-home sitting instead, which I actually prefer—this allows your dog to stay in their familiar environment, stick to their normal routine, and avoid the added stress of a new space. My goal is always to keep your pet comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I tailor my care to meet each feline's unique needs. This includes providing regular playtime, maintaining a clean environment, and adhering to feeding schedules and any medication requirements. I prioritize open communication with cat owners, providing updates and photos to ensure peace of mind while they're away. Additionally, I'm prepared to handle any emergencies that may arise, ensuring the safety and well-being of the cats in my care.

“Abby is so great with my two cats and provides the best updates! She is quick to respond and and I love that she includes pictures of every visit. Will definitely book with Abby again!”
“Katherine took amazing care of our boys while we were away. She communicated with us throughout our trip, sent us lots of pictures and even swept up litter they tracked. The boys were happy and looked well cared for when we got home.”

“Katie did an awesome job looking after my cats while I was away! She was super sweet, and both kitties were well taken care of—even my shy cat came out a few times while she was dropping in to check on them throughout the week!”

“Armani was caring and thoughtful during the visits. My cats enjoyed her company and she even did dishes for me voluntarily. I was grateful that she was able to sit my cats during Christmas. Will book her again when I need sitting in the future”

“Sean is an excellent dog daycare provider. He is personable, kind and very reliable. Hamish loved not only Sean, but also Sean’s family — which includes two Labradoodles, Penny and Finn, Hamish’s daily playmates around the family’s generous off-road property.”

About: Growing up, I have never been without a pet to come home to. I truly believe pets have the ability to alter someone’s life, and thus deserve the best care. I can assure you I will treat your pets with utmost care and love. I ran my own pet sitting business in high school, and am very comfortable with new dogs and cats. I am currently an M1 at Dartmouth med school. My schedule is quite flexible, just reach out for specific quests about your pet sitting needs. I live in a house with 5 other medical students so it’s difficult to host animals in my house but I am happy to stay in your home!
About: I have been caring for unwanted and wayward animals for 30 years. All of our pets have been adopted as strays, from shelters or rehoming. Now, I bring these years of experience and love to your furry family members. With a team of of veterinary providers, groomers and emergency contacts in place, you can rest assured that your pets will receive the best possible attention and care. Because I much prefer to care for animals than greet customers at a WalMart, I joined Rover as my retirement job :) It's a great way to pursue my love for dogs and cats. l'm almost always available with a little notice. My home is open to your dog. Jump up on the couch, sleep on the bed, no problem unless you prefer a more structured environment and routine. Your dog will be one of the family here and will have company most all of the time. I also offer a very nice space for cats or for dogs that do not get along well with others. Not a cage or kennel but a finished 20x20 heated and furnished room in my barn loft where we can play and visit one on one.
“Juno had a fantastic stay with Kevin & Inez last week. He is comfortable when he knows that the humans he hangs out with understand dogs and instantly connected with Inez. He came home and was super relaxed and happy (and tuckered out from the walks and spending time with other canine friends). He is looking forward to his next stay :-).”
