Pet care is a central part of both my daily routine and my career. I work full time as a pet sitter, so I dedicate my entire day to taking care of pets. This includes feeding, walking, playtime, administering medication if needed, and making sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for. My routine revolves around their needs, and I also incorporate regular grooming, cleaning, and health check-ins throughout the week. It’s something I’m passionate about and have fully integrated into my lifestyle.

When caring for pets in my home, I make sure the environment is clean, pet-proofed, and stress-free, with designated spaces for rest, play, and meals. I keep a close eye on behavior to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and stick closely to the pet’s usual routine to minimize stress. I make sure the home stays clean and secure, and I always communicate updates to build trust and peace of mind. I also follow any special instructions for feeding, medications, or behavioral needs to ensure the best possible care
A typical day
I like to tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, I’ll do things like walks, fetch, tug-of-war, or even basic training games that keep them mentally stimulated. For cats, I use toys like feather wands or laser pointers, and I make sure they have cozy spots to relax and explore. I also spend quality one-on-one time with each pet so they feel comfortable and engaged. If a pet has specific preferences or routines, I’m happy to stick to those too
