About: Hi, I'm Lydia! Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I grew up in a home with two dogs and a cat. Since college, I have pet sat and dog walked consistently, and I kept it up all through my master's program and now medical school! My goal is always to make sure your pet feels seen, comfortable, and cared for like they're my own. 🐾 I am currently a medical student, but my schedule is flexible and I am in town most weekends! During the weekdays, I am free for early morning walks/feeding, midday lunch drop-ins, and late afternoon/evening visits. I will treat your pet and house with the respect they deserve! Whether that means wiping muddy paws at the door, cleaning up thoroughly after your pet, or simply leaving no trace and leaving your home exactly as I found it. About: I can’t remember the last time I’ve lived in a home without a dog or cat! I’ve been training my own furball who’s 10 months old and he’s doing great! I’d say most of my experience comes from watching my own animals, family’s furry friends and neighbors’ pets. I have some time on my hands in between jobs at the moment to help others out. I am currently between jobs for the next few months so I have plenty of time and flexibility to work with your schedule. Happy to fill my days with more dogs! I have a large yard and plenty of trails nearby to walk the dogs! I also have a 10 month old Irish wolfhound that absolutely loves hanging out with other dogs! I have crates - large enough for an Irish wolfhound and room for yours if needed!

Samantha did an excellent job looking after our 2 cats (and 4 chickens) at our house over a three week period. Her communication was excellent - always responding swiftly and thoroughly to our messages, and sending rover cards with great photos after her visits. Our cats tend to get a bit grumpy with each other while we're away, and we were impressed to see relatively little evidence of fighting when we got back. We also appreciated her willingness to look after the chickens - which are a bit out of scope for rover - at a reasonable rate. The chicken coop was just completed before we left, and had some hiccups in the cold weather, which she dealt with very well. We would definitely book again!
Emily was a wonderful sitter! My cat Lily Biscuits took to her immediately which was comforting. There was an issue with our heat and Emily was so helpful in letting us know what was going on. She took so many pictures of my baby, and gave her a treat on Christmas and put on a holiday movie, too sweet!!
