About: I’ve taken care of and lived with dogs and cats my entire life. I am an agriculture student and former horseback rider with experience caring for animals including chickens, goats, horses, cows and more. I am currently a full time student, but my remote coursework allows me ample flexibility to care for animals multiple times throughout any given day. Unfortunately my apartment complex does not allow me to bring animals to my apartment. However, I am willing to travel to a clients home to care for their animals. I treat every client, their pets and their home with the utmost respect and care.

About: I grew up on a farm and have taken care of a variety of animals. I worked in veterinary medicine for 8 years and spent two years in high school working for a dog and cat boarding facility. Currently a graduate student, I have a lot of flexibility. I’m able to complete morning, midday, and/or evening walks. I am often available on weekends. I have a fenced in porch and can take dogs out on leash. I live close by to the rail trail and in a very walkable neighborhood. I can administer topical, oral, and subcutaneous medications.

“Really appreciated Nora dropping in to check on my dog Dash when I was at work. Gave me lots of updates and pics. Was very considerate of my dog's needs and took the time to play with him inside when it was too cold for him to walk outside for a long period of time.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have taken care of them for family and friends as well. I will certainly give my undivided attention to any pet! I work part time (usually in the mornings and afternoons) so I have a more flexible schedule, and I’m open to coming early mornings and late nights if needed. I have a spacious, fenced backyard with lots of room to run and explore. I can of course provide a variety of treats, toys, and entertainment options.

About: I adore dogs! I’ve been dog-sitting for the past five years and have experience with all kinds of pups—energetic, shy, curious, cautious. I love to take dogs on long walks in nature and notice what they notice! Each dog is different, with different needs, and I make sure to make a plan with the owners so I know how best to care for their pet and make everyone feel safe and loved! In early July, I’ll be finishing up a yearlong fellowship but will be sticking around in the Upper Valley until September. Which means my schedule is extremely flexible! I’m able to take on recurring gigs or one-off dog sitting/walking needs. Unfortunately, my apartment doesn’t allow dogs, but I’m happy to stay at yours or take your pup for a very long walk! I find that there’s isn’t one routine that works with every dog. Each dog is different! I like to make a plan with the owner to go through their dog’s needs and get a better understanding of how to best care for their pet! :)

“The pictures and updates Abby gives me throughout the walk is a breath of fresh air, knowing my dog is in good hands. :-) I can definitely tell Ellie enjoys her time with Abby from the pictures <3”

About: Hi!! I am a Dartmouth researcher and alumni who loves spending time with animals and getting to know the Upper Valley better by house-sitting! I have a long history of pet care experience from my own pets to my neighbors and friends here in Hanover! I am experienced with senior pets and in administering pet medications! I am a lover of all pets, most of all, dogs AND cats!! I’m currently in-between full time jobs and work short shifts in the restaurant industry, so I am ready and able to care for your pets! I enjoy spending time with pets and your home as if they are my own: with excitement, respect, and cleanliness. I am an extremely active runner and hiker, so I would love to take any opportunity to be active with your pet (if they like!) Walks are my favorite part of the day too!

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Looking to get my own, but in the meantime, would be excited to watch yours. I have plenty of toys and treats and I’m happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable to keep your furry friend happy! I currently work at Dartmouth Hitchcock full-time which is why I typically can only watch during the weekend. My flexibility means I can also sometimes work remote. Depending on your preference, I’m sure we can work out something great. I am happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable. I love to go for a walk, so I’m happy to take them down to the small park that we have. Or if they’re not much of a walker, I’m happy to sit and relax as long as they know how to pick a TV show.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for over five years, caring for everything from tiny puppies to large breeds and seniors. As a lifelong pet owner of both dogs and cats, I understand each animal’s unique needs, whether it’s high-energy playtime in the park or calm cuddle sessions at home. I’m comfortable managing excitable pups and ensuring they get the exercise, socialization, and affection they crave. With me, your family members will get reliable, experienced care every time. As a graduate student, I have a very flexible work schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays after noon. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or cuddles, I can make sure your pet gets the attention they need throughout the day. I have a cozy home with a calm cat who enjoys lounging on her own couch with blankets and a scratching post nearby. I’m very gentle, patient, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs and comfort level. I can easily crate your dog if needed and always prioritize a safe, calm, and loving environment.

About: It has been a joy for me to care of a variety of animals since I was 8 years old, including dogs, cats, hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, fish, and hermit crabs! I have prior experience as a volunteer at a humane society for cats and dogs, where I participated in hands-on courses on positive dog training methods. I provide a gentle, patient, and attentive approach to all critters I care for, ensuring peace of mind for both you and your furry friend! I am currently available for dog walking and drop-in pet sitting services between the hours of 7 a.m–8 p.m., 7 days a week, so I have plenty of flexibility to work with your schedule! For most pets, I believe that staying in their own home with familiar surroundings is the best way to help them feel comfortable and content while you’re at work or out of town. I prefer to provide drop-in visits where I can maintain your pet’s typical routine as much as possible. I look forward to learning about your individual pet’s needs!

About: Hi! My name is Pam, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 7 years. I’ve provided dog walking and pet sitting services for families with all kinds of animals—big and small! I also volunteered at a veterinary clinic, where I learned even more about pet health, behavior, and how to handle pets with care and confidence. I truly love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s a quick walk or a weekend of sitting, I’m here to make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved. About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, horses, cows, goats, fish, peacocks, etc. I’m very comfortable with animals of all temperaments. I live with my parents who do have a small dog, but I have my own large living area with plenty of room that I spend most of my time in. I live on a large piece of land with plenty of walking trails, and I’m very serious and safe on keeping my parents small dog separate from any dog I may be watching! I have experience with many different animal personality’s and temperaments. I have cared for animals with anxiety, dog aggression ,food aggression, and separation issues. I am a major problem solver so I have yet to find an issue with a pet that I cannot resolve!
