Don’t hesitate to hire Abby! She’s the best! We hesitate to leave this 5 star review that she fully deserves because now she may become so busy that she’s unavailable to help us out ? Abby stopped by for a meet and greet, which completely eased our anxiety. She walked our dog all week and played with him. She logged photos and cute notes for each 30 minute visit and was punctual each day. We cannot thank her enough!

About: I grew up on a small hobby farm in Vermont and have always had animals around. In high school and college, I volunteered at High Horses Therapeutic Riding Program in Sharon, Vermont and developed a love for horses. Whether it be your cat or your cow, I am excited to meet and care for your animals and home! I am currently job searching as I just finished my master's with Middlebury College, so I have plenty of availability for the summer and possibly beyond. I am comfortable caring for many different kinds of animals and I will closely follow instructions on how you wish your pet to be cared for

About: I can RUN or WALK your dog! I have owned/looked after pets my whole life (small, medium size, large dogs and cats). I absolutely love all animals and am an extremely dependable, trustworthy and communicative person. Being a fitness enthusiast I am willing to run with your pets or throw the ball if you want them to get tired out! My schedule is extremely flexible. I am going back to school to get my masters in Nutrition Sciences and currently work in the kitchen at a Presbyterian/St. Lukes Medical Center in Denver. Playing division 1 sports in college taught me so many things including being diligent and extremely hard working. I will always be on time and conscientious of the details that are so important to your pets' needs. I can't wait to meet you and your little friend if you will have me! Currently part time so contact me and we can work something out! I am happy to work my schedule around you or chat through times that work best. Happy to come to your house and take care of your animal! I am very respectful of the space I’m in! If you need something small done around the house too, I’m happy to take care of it!

Animals are a significant part of my life and I look forward to helping you and your family. I am available for dog walks, drop ins, or pet sitting. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats as part of our family. About: Hi there! I am 30 and I live in Springfield, VT and work in WRJ. So my radius is quite large. I have a 6 year old golden pup (as seen in photos) named Burton and also take care of my in laws cat, Middy. I grew up in Vermont on a small farm with 3 dogs (Pitbull and labs) and 2 cats. I currently have a pup, Burton. Who gets along with all dogs and people. Depending on your pets personality, I will be sure to be active with them. Our pup Burton gets 4 walks a day and typically goes for a swim once a day at a nearby kayak launch. I fully believe pets should have a significant amount of play + active time whether its a walk or drop in visit, they will have fun. I do work in WRJ from 8-5pm but I do have lunches available and we do have flexible time. Typically at lunch or after work I will have time to give them a good active walk/run. I am a very active person and believe all pups should have an active lifestyle as well. I only do walks + drop ins, most of my care will be outside! Love hiking, long walks and running. I have experience with running a husky every other day for 2-3 miles due to the high energy.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
