About: I’ve absolutely adored animals since I was 4yrs old. I started getting educated on animals at a young age and knew my dream was to work with animals. I started my professional career in the industry in 2017. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for a year, then moved on to a facility for dogs and cats, which I’ve worked at since 2018. Over the years at these facilities, I’ve learned about proper care, training and grooming techniques for dogs, and care for cats. I have plenty of experience working with different breeds of dogs from the smallest teacup poodle, to the chunkiest bulldog, to the biggest Great Dane. I’ve worked with many different breeds, sizes and personalities in large daycare groups, so I’ve learned how to manage different demeanors in different settings. With cats, I understand their boundaries and don’t like to force any interaction on them, but if they are comfortable with it I give them lots of love. I’ve also volunteered at a shelter for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. At the shelter, I focused on learning how to properly care for rodents and cats. *I don’t discriminate against any pet’s breed, size, age, medical condition, etc. I treat them all with the best care.* **I am able to dispense oral medication to pets if necessary. I AM NOT CERTIFIED TO GIVE INJECTION (NEEDLE INVOLVED) MEDICATION** I work in Gardena in the afternoon-evening Mon-Fri, but typically am home or close by during most of the day and on weekends. I tend to stay local when running errands. My apartment is gated and a code or key is needed to enter the premises. We have a large grass area right out front, which is not gated. There’s plenty of grass and parks in the neighborhood to go to during walks. My apartment is on the second floor with the luxury of having the parking garage underneath me, so your pet running around the house won’t disturb anyone! I stay alert and aware of my surroundings at all times for safety purposes. I have multiple rooms and gates to separate pets when necessary (feeding, bedtime, rest breaks…etc.) My pets are flea treated regularly and stay up to date on their vaccines. **IMPORTANT NOTICE BELOW!!! In order to keep my home a healthy and clean environment for all, IF PETS ARRIVE WITH FLEAS I require a $50-$100 cleaning fee AND a flea bath may apply with a MINIMUM charge of $38/pet bathed. I HIGHLY recommend flea treatments and checking your pets for fleas BEFOREHAND to avoid additional charges. ADDITIONALLY, if your pet causes any damages to my property there will be a MINIMUM charge of $25 for repairs/replacements.**

About: I've had my own animals of all kinds, growing up and my whole life. From all different kinds pets to farm animals. I take care of other people's animals regularly and is something I really enjoy doing. I homeschool my 9 year old daughter who is also an animal lover. We are home majority of the time unless we are off doing a, usually dog friendly excursion. We love the dog beach! My daughter and I love to play with dogs and go for lots of walks. I have a fenced in yard with a doggy door for while we are home.

About: I grew up in a farm in San Jose Costa Rica where I would interact with horses, cats, and dogs of different colors and breads every day. I love animals and have had the responsibility of caring for them since I have memory. I absolutely love being around animals and I enjoy exercising them if it's walking with a cat, walking a dog, or riding a horse. I am a full-time college student as I am attending El Camino College which is really close to my house in Lawndale being only 5 mins away. I do not attend college every single day, so in my days and evenings off I am fully committed to pet care. My house in Lawndale is a small house with a fenced garden, so of course I will give plenty of attention, exercise if needed to, and be totally on top of the pet's eating schedule. If I take care of a pet in a client's home, I will be really respectful in regards with being in a client's home furthermost, be attentive to the pet, exercise if needed to, and being aware of the pet's eating schedule.

Rachel P.
“Rachel took awesome care of my little Chihuahua, Julian. Julian usually only gets along with men and can be a bit aggressive. I was so relieved that Rachel took the time to bond with Julian and now she walks him all the time. Definitely recommend Rachel!”

Niko C.
“Niko is a charismatic and responsible young person. He grew up in a farm in Costa Rica around dogs and horses, so he is very natural when it comes to handling them. He is firm, kind, and very sensitive. Now in Los Angeles he is active in college and sports and he has a nice energy to him. I would highly recommend him and would totally trust any animal to him.”
