“We met Tyler for the first time and he did great with our pup. He was attentive to all his needs and left a great impression. We are looking forward to more walks with Tyler!”

“I have had my dog Bacon taken care of by them several times now over the last year ish. Last minute walks, my wedding, my two week honeymoon, day long events, a vacation, you name it. If you want true value for your money and an amazingly intuitive animal person. Book them. Trust the process. Bacon may not be good with other dogs usually but there's just an aura about them that allows Bacon to at least coexist. Mai just knows what to do. I would say Mai absolutely adores my old dog like he is their own. Love love love. It lifts so many worries off my shoulders when they take care of Bacon.”

“Malia is the best! She is communicative, reliable, and timely. And she loves my dog! She takes lots of pictures and sends great updates so you know that your pet is well cared for.”

“I recently had the pleasure of hiring Tyler as our dog walker, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Tyler is consistently on time, which is a huge relief for our busy schedule. His communication skills are excellent; he keeps me informed about how our dog is doing during walks and is always open to any questions I have. What truly stands out is how well he follows our care instructions. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about our dog’s well-being, and that gives us peace of mind. Our dog is not only safe but also incredibly happy after spending time with Tyler. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker! Thank you, Tyler, for providing such wonderful care!”

About: I had a border Collie for 17 years now an American shepherd for 1.5 years and he's fully trained already he's great just still a pup. Currently I work part time for an Amish company and I do morning pick ups and evening drop off with Thursday me being at the job all day. With time in advance I can move stuff around if need be. Im basically free all week during the times everyone is working. Well my dog i train and make sure he's behaving before he gets a reward. I don't always make him do stuff for tricks, but I practice commands daily and when it's not raining we go on walks, unfortunately he gets car sick so long drives aren't great for him still. I hug him tell him he's great tell him when he's done something bad as well, Play with toys and I'm currently working on him knowing what toy I'm telling him to get
About: I have lifelong experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, including raising my own dogs and caring for puppies, senior dogs and dogs with anxiety. I currently have a 8 year yellow Lab named Nala. She’s sweet, affectionate and has just enough of the typical Lab troublemaker personality to keep things interesting! I’m comfortable following individual routines and giving each dog the patience and attention they need. For walks and drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your dog gets the attention, exercise and care they need while you’re away. I’m happy to adjust to what works best for them. Most importantly, I take being responsible for someone’s pet seriously. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own and I’ll make sure your dog is well cared for while you’re not there. I work full time during the week, but have the most flexibility on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and schedule visits in advance so I can give each dog the time and attention they need. When I’m caring for a pet, my priority is making sure they feel comfortable, safe, nd well cared for. I’ll follow your instructions and their normal routine, whether that menas a walk, potty break, playtime, or simply some company.
“Kaelee walked our dog Bilbo twice this week and she was great! She was prompt and communicative in scheduling, got to know Bilbo a bit before the walk, and was careful walking him around busy roads. I appreciated that she helped us by not reinforcing his barking/jumping when greeting someone too.”

About: My experience with pets is based off of my very own pets that I take care of outside of college. Taking dogs out for walks and give them the proper exercise, make sure they are fed properly and regularly, and to give them the attention they need. For cats same applies for them as well. I'm a college student currently enrolled in Thaddeus Stevens and with my schedule I can on Monday's/Wednesdays from 12:00-4:00 Pm and afterwards I can come again from 7:00- 11:00 Pm. On Tuesday's/Thursday's I can come around 12:00 -3:00 Pm and afterwards I can also come from 5:00-10:00 Pm Weekends - If I don't currently have any weekend plans (You can contact me and ask if I do, or I'll inform you of my plans if asked. But I don't mind staying over a full weekend to watch your pets). The time's I can scheduled for a long weekend would be between Friday 2pm ( I have to finish my Am class 7:30 - 12:00) to Sunday 12pm. I provide pet care that focuses on safety, comfort, and consistency whether the animal is in my home or their own. I follow each pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and medications so they feel secure and supported. My home is fully pet‑proofed, and when I’m in a client’s home, I respect their space, keep things clean, and follow all household rules. I supervise pets closely, especially outdoors, and make sure they always have access to fresh water, a cozy resting area, and a calm environment. I also spend quality time with every pet, offering enrichment, affection, and reassurance to help them feel relaxed while their owner is away.
“Thanks for your service over the last two months and your loving relationship with Orla. She really enjoys you. You have thoroughly mastered the campus of Woodcrest Villa, including the knowledge of which staff members provide doggie treats, the difference between the Dog Park and the Park, the nature trail, the bridge that requires a portage for smaller dogs, and your way around both the villas and the apartment complex. It was delightful for you to join our family on Sunday in a discussion of your educational and career goals and ways our family may be of assistance. We wish you well in your studies at Temple, your pursuit of the law, and your intended career specialty of protecting children. We will not hesitate to use your services in the future and recommend you to any Woodcrest Villa (or other CCRC resident) needing help with their pet.”

“Shareem is the best dog Walker we’ve ever had. She’s consistent, caring, communicative, and always showing up for the best interest of our girls. Our two pitbulls are not the easiest to walk or manage but she meets their needs and requirements with no extra hassle. I couldn’t recommend her more!”

Rachel is the best there is! My dog loves seeing Rachel. I know she is well taken care of when I am gone. Rachel plays with her at the park, gives her treats, and refreshes her water every time. We are moving out of state and I don’t know if I’m going to find someone as great as Rachel! Highly recommend :)

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
