Both my husband and I work flexible sales jobs, and between the two of us we are able to care to and exercise our dogs and boarders multiple times a day. We are early risers (and early to bed), so if you have a dog that likes to eat at 6 am, we can absolutely handle.

Our yard is fenced in and private on all sides, but we also make sure to never leave our dogs unattended in the yard (this extends to fosters and boarders too). One of our neighbors traps and spays/neuters stray cats. Our other neighbor has a cat and a dog but the fence prevents interaction.

I prefer to pet sit in my own home so that I can spend time with my own dog Penne, who loves other dogs but can't travel to other homes as she does not have full bladder control due to her disability. Penne is very friendly and our home is very dog proof with a large fenced in yard. I love all dogs but especially big dogs and pitbulls :)
A typical day
I love exercise and love to walk dogs that board with us, as our two dogs don't require much more exercise than they get in the yard. Our yard is also big enough for games of fetch, which our wheelie girl loves.

**NOTE: I require dog meets before accepting boarding requests as my dog is handicapped!!! She is super friendly but sometimes other dogs don’t like her wheelchair or are scared of her.** I grew up with a house full of dogs, and have continued the tradition in the home my husband and I have made. We have two large pitbulls, one in a wheelchair (Penne) and one able bodied but kind of dumb (Conor). We also foster puppies and dogs through Philly Bully Team. Because of our current furry residents, we require all dogs to be UTD on vaccines and crate trained for safety. We do have a large fenced in yard where your dogs can play, and I love walking dogs through downtown Lancaster where we live!

Allyson was incredible! Quick response for a last-minute request and took amazing care of my Nala. Took her on long walks and sent the cutest pictures. I would highly recommend!
