About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life! Mostly Pits, but comfortable caring for any breed, big or small. I have experience with trained and untrained dogs, hyper puppies, and senior dogs that need a little more patience than most. I also have experience caring for dogs that suffer from Tonic-Clonic (grand mal) seizures. I can also administer medication if needed. Rover is a part time job that also doubles as experience under my belt considering i’m going to school to become a vet technician. Personally pet care has always been apart of my daily life including cat care: feeding, enrichment, cleaning all bowls and liter box daily, bonding time(cuddles), even practicing tricks! (my cat can sit, spin, and go up on her hind feet all for a treat). Dog care includes: walking, feeding, outdoor and indoor enrichment, bathing, brushing etc. Im comfortable with pets in my home and also going to the clients home. I have 3 main areas in my home that I utilize for pet care. my finished basement which includes 2 separate rooms and a full bathroom, my backyard which is fully fenced with no grass. Lastly, the attic floor which includes my bedroom. If your pet is more hyper, I’d care for them in the basement since it has more space for zoomies and playing with toys. If your furbaby is more lazy and chill, we can relax in my bedroom!

About: I’m an empty nester living downtown Lancaster City with a fully fenced yard. I’ve had dogs all of my life and I prefer adopting older rescues. But i just lost my Babette in July 2026. I’m not ready to own another one yet, but I miss having a dog as a regular part of my life. I’ve fostered in between pets in the past but wanted to give Rover a go. Babette was super reactive to other dogs so I’m experienced with that. But generally I’m a dog Mom who prefers dogs in my lap, on the couch and bed, etc. I can be strict if that’s what the owner prefers. I’m a walker but also looking for some dogs who might want to be runners (3 miles). My ‘day job’ is managing our personally owned rental properties and working on home improvement projects on my 150 year old carriage house. My schedule to take care of your pets is very open and flexible. In my house or yours. For a center of city home, we have a relatively large fenced yard which is a nice treat for dogs to be off leash and run free. I also love walking dogs around town, county park, and can even take a jog with them if there’s some energy to burn off. I would like jobs within walking distance so that’s pretty much a mile in either direction from Lancaster Square but I’m open to riding bike or driving to a further away location.

My mother-in-law just turned 100 and my wife arranged a large family gathering for a 4 Day Florida celebration where her mother resides.
