About: I have had dogs my entire life and every single one of them has had a piece of my heart! I presently have two senior dogs and one three-year old, who probably feels as passionately about dogs as I do! I have also lived with, loved, and taken care of several cats over the last 13 years. Growing up, I was responsible for taking care of my family’s lizards and frogs. I presently am able to control my own schedule and can make myself available for any last-minute or unexpected pet care needs that you may have. Currently, my only blocked off time for certain is Wednesdays from 5:30pm-9:30pm In my home, I have a fenced in yard to ensure that outside time is safe and fun. If you do not have a fenced in space but are still looking for your pup to have some outdoor time, I always ensure a leash is used to keep them safe. I have successfully used components of behavior analysis to build trust and confidence in my own dogs, while also ensuring that I understand their own behavioral cues to prevent stress in new or different situations. This includes shaping behaviors, frequent reinforcement, and pairing with new dogs to demonstrate that I am a safe person in their environment. Should transportation ever need to occur, I have a seat belt that clips to any standard harness as well as a seat cover that prevents climbing over the center console. I have a number of 6-foot leashes as well as 2 30-foot leashes to allow for safe running in open spaces, and an expandable 10-foot leash.

Our dog had an expected health issue before we left and Lexi kept us up to date every day on how she was doing, calibrated to a different diet and some meds needed for the week, and even coordinated with me and the vet regarding a complication that came up from her health issue while we were gone. She clearly has a good pulse on animals and even our vet commented on how on top of things she was. About: I had a border Collie for 17 years now an American shepherd for 1.5 years and he's fully trained already he's great just still a pup. Currently I work part time for an Amish company and I do morning pick ups and evening drop off with Thursday me being at the job all day. With time in advance I can move stuff around if need be. Im basically free all week during the times everyone is working. Well my dog i train and make sure he's behaving before he gets a reward. I don't always make him do stuff for tricks, but I practice commands daily and when it's not raining we go on walks, unfortunately he gets car sick so long drives aren't great for him still. “Where to begin. Colleen is quite literally the cutest and sweetest person we have ever had the privilege of meeting. We are first time parents to our newly adopted tortie kitten Bootsie. She’s four and half months old and is quite the handful, she’s also very attached to mom and dad. So it goes without saying we were a little nervous about leaving her side. Colleen came in and just blew us away with how patient and courteous she was to our fur baby from the start. We knew instantly we had found the perfect person to watch over her. Tyler was fabulous with my dogs. Three retrievers, two golden and a very anxious mixed lab. The lab took to him immediately. Tyler updated regularly with pics and texts. Last minute one of the holders developed a terrible hot spot requiring special care. Tyler was accepting of the challenge and nursed the poor guy back to health. I would recommend Tyler highly! He left our home as if he was never there and our dogs happy! I will use Tyler again in the future!!!
Tyler stayed with our two high-needs Boston terriers for a week. Not only did he take incredible care of the pups, he left our place completely immaculate, even taking care of laundry and sweeping up. He is so above and beyond, and we felt very comfortable during our trip thanks to his frequent updates and thorough care. Thanks so, so much for being so great to our wild pups!
This was our first time using Misty for an overnight stay since moving to Lancaster, and she made the entire experience easy and reassuring. Zania is a treasure. For anyone looking for a responsible, respectful and caring dogwalker for the Lancaster County area, Zania is wonderful. I have a young active terrier and a very Senior, deaf and partialy blind terrier. She was very careful with both. Followed my care instructions and asked appropriate questions to determine how to best meet their needs. She fed them, gave potty breaks and gave my Senior dog her medications with no issues. The dogs loved her.

We had an amazing experience with our sitter today. Oreo is a rescue dog who struggles with separation anxiety so leaving her is stressful for us. However she was happy and relaxed. The absolute best part was that Oreo felt safe enough to sleep right next to her which is a huge milestone for our girl. It is a massive relief to find someone so patient and comforting. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful and trustworthy sitter.
Hannah was wonderful! She was communicative the whole time and I felt that my cats were in the best hands. She tried several things when one of the cats wasn’t eating well and got her back on track. Hannah also ended up staying an extra day when our flight got cancelled and her willingness and flexibility to do that made a very stressful situation much easier to deal with.
Samantha helped us on short notice when my husband and I's travel schedules overlapped. In the week leading up to our travel, both of our senior pets had major medical incidents, which meant that both were on a variety of medications and needed a lot of oversight while we were away. It also meant that my husband and I were both feeling pretty anxious about leaving them. Samantha did a wonderful job looking after our home and our animals, and dealing with a torrent of chats during her stay. She even managed to nab our scaredy cat (who is infamous for his ability to hide from strangers), and get 2 syringes of medicine into him while she was here. When we got home the house was tidy and even the guest bedroom linens were cleaned! We're so glad Samantha was able to help keep our furbabies healthy while we were away!
