“Tyler was fabulous with my dogs. Three retrievers, two golden and a very anxious mixed lab. The lab took to him immediately. Tyler updated regularly with pics and texts. Last minute one of the holders developed a terrible hot spot requiring special care. Tyler was accepting of the challenge and nursed the poor guy back to health. I would recommend Tyler highly! He left our home as if he was never there and our dogs happy! I will use Tyler again in the future!!!”

About: As an experienced dog foster, I have cared for more than 25 dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, representing a wide variety of breeds and sizes. In addition, I was the proud owner of four dogs who each lived long, happy lives and reached their senior years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the important role pets play as beloved members of the family. As a school teacher, I enjoy a very flexible schedule during the summer months and would love the opportunity to support families who need a safe, loving temporary home for their four-legged companions. Whether your pet needs overnight care, companionship during the day, or some extra exercise and attention, I am committed to providing the same level of care and affection that I would give my own dogs. As a teacher, I am currently on summer break, so I have availability daily throughout the week for play sessions and dog walks. I am also available for multi-night lodging. When you’re here, you’re family. Any animal under my care will be treated as one of my own. But with me, you get a whole family who are all trained in caring for dogs and cats, as each member of the household has been involved with fostering pups and raising kitties. The second floor of the house is separated by a door at the top of the stairs to allow separation between feline and canine friends if needed. Daily photos and FaceTime are available. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.

Zania is a treasure. For anyone looking for a responsible, respectful and caring dogwalker for the Lancaster County area, Zania is wonderful. I have a young active terrier and a very Senior, deaf and partialy blind terrier. She was very careful with both. Followed my care instructions and asked appropriate questions to determine how to best meet their needs. She fed them, gave potty breaks and gave my Senior dog her medications with no issues. The dogs loved her.
Erika took such great care of our 2 pups while we were out of town. She is very dependable and followed the care instructions we left. She was even able to help out with a last minute request of feeding crickets to our sons's gecko. And best yet, when we returned home, our house looked just as it did when we left. Ally was sensational. I’ve never had my pets take to someone so quickly. Ally went the extra mile to make sure our fur babies were taken care of while we were away. When my old pup wasn’t eating due to us being away, she brought pumpkin puree to encourage her to eat. 😁 We also just got 2 new kittens and she made sure to protect any areas they wanted to attack and keep everything in one piece 😂. We highly recommend Ally and look forward to her caring for our babies next time we’re away.
Hannah was wonderful! She was communicative the whole time and I felt that my cats were in the best hands. She tried several things when one of the cats wasn’t eating well and got her back on track. Hannah also ended up staying an extra day when our flight got cancelled and her willingness and flexibility to do that made a very stressful situation much easier to deal with.
Samantha helped us on short notice when my husband and I's travel schedules overlapped. In the week leading up to our travel, both of our senior pets had major medical incidents, which meant that both were on a variety of medications and needed a lot of oversight while we were away. It also meant that my husband and I were both feeling pretty anxious about leaving them. Samantha did a wonderful job looking after our home and our animals, and dealing with a torrent of chats during her stay. She even managed to nab our scaredy cat (who is infamous for his ability to hide from strangers), and get 2 syringes of medicine into him while she was here. When we got home the house was tidy and even the guest bedroom linens were cleaned! We're so glad Samantha was able to help keep our furbabies healthy while we were away!
Symantha was great with our dog and home. She was a great companion for our dog as well as keeping us up to date with pictures etc. Very much appreciate that! Even with a power outage! The house was exactly as we left it. She even helped out with an important package that came while we were away. Our dog took to her right away - we definitely will ask her to come back!!
Rebecca went above and beyond for our senior dog. She went so far as to hand feed him when he was refusing food while we were away (which was not a requirement, but was really very kind of her). Great communication, great care, positive experience overall. We'd happily book with her again.
