About: I grew up in a household with dogs and cats, and as we've added kids to our family, we've fostered and taken care of plenty of extra animals. Our kids are raised as compassionate animals lovers, as this is core to our family values. Before relocating to this area from NYC, my husband and I both volunteered at animal shelters, cleaning cages, socializing pets, and walking dogs. We started our own petsitting business back then as we truly love animals and wanted to help take care of them. In NYC, we could only have a couple of cats, so we welcomed any dogs that we could get to know and bond with. We would clean up after the pets, make sure there is food and water along with any medications the pets may need, including insulin injections. I believe playing with the pets is very essential in establishing a good relationship with any dog or cat, it builds a solid foundation and leaves the animals feeling less lonely. About: I had a border Collie for 17 years now an American shepherd for 1.5 years and he's fully trained already he's great just still a pup. Currently I work part time for an Amish company and I do morning pick ups and evening drop off with Thursday me being at the job all day. With time in advance I can move stuff around if need be. Im basically free all week during the times everyone is working. Well my dog i train and make sure he's behaving before he gets a reward. I don't always make him do stuff for tricks, but I practice commands daily and when it's not raining we go on walks, unfortunately he gets car sick so long drives aren't great for him still. About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life! Mostly Pits, but comfortable caring for any breed, big or small. I have experience with trained and untrained dogs, hyper puppies, and senior dogs that need a little more patience than most. I also have experience caring for dogs that suffer from Tonic-Clonic (grand mal) seizures. I can also administer medication if needed.
