About: As an experienced dog foster, I have cared for more than 25 dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, representing a wide variety of breeds and sizes. In addition, I was the proud owner of four dogs who each lived long, happy lives and reached their senior years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the important role pets play as beloved members of the family. I am a school teacher, and with school now in session, my available has shifted. I am available each day starting approximately at 3:30 and can do early morning prior to school. I would love the opportunity to support families who need a safe, loving temporary home for their four-legged companions. Whether your pet needs overnight care, companionship during the day, or some extra exercise and attention, I am committed to providing the same level of care and affection that I would give my own dogs. As a teacher, I am currently on summer break, so I have availability daily throughout the week for play sessions and dog walks. I am also available for multi-night lodging. When you’re here, you’re family. Any animal under my care will be treated as one of my own. But with me, you get a whole family who are all trained in caring for dogs and cats, as each member of the household has been involved with fostering pups and raising kitties. The second floor of the house is separated by a door at the top of the stairs to allow separation between feline and canine friends if needed. Daily photos and FaceTime are available. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.

I’m currently working part time at nights, so I will have lots of time during the day and after school to care for and play with pets. I have had a lot of experience with different breeds of dogs, so I am qualified to meet your pets needs no matter what shape or size!

About: I am currently working at a veterinary clinic as a technician! I’ve learned how to read animal behaviors and earn their trust. I’m here to be their new best friend. And of course you’ll get plenty of adorable photo updates along the way. I try to be as flexible as possible. I know most of these kiddos thrive off of routine. I know our pets deserve lots of attention, time, love and excellent care! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I will follow all routines closely. My main priority is making them feel comfortable around my presence. In your home I will respect your privacy and be clean and tidy. When coming into their space I make sure I am calm and approachable. I let them to come up to me, I talk in a soft voice to gain their trust and of course yummy treats (if allowed) !

About: I have had pets ever since I was born, never without a pet. Throughout my life, I have had a total of 4 dogs and 2 cats. There is also a cat I help my mother take care of that lives at her job! I love pets and I am such an animal person, I wish I could own them all! I am currently working full time, but have managed college courses at the same time so I know exactly how to manage my time, especially for taking care of pets. I have two dogs and a hamster at home, so I have a lot of practice with taking care of pets during a full time work schedule. I do not offer taking care of pets within my home, as I want your pet to be as comfortable as possible. I will visit client's homes as many times per day as they would like, and will stay in constant communication.

About: I have loved animals my whole life. I’ve owned a Guinea pig, cockatiel, and two dogs. I have experience taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and even some farm animals at Lancaster Farm Sanctuary. I also volunteered at a dog shelter in Philadelphia during college, so I have experience working with more timid and difficult animals. I am skilled in reading animal body language and excited to meet your pet! I currently have a part time job, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets. I am flexible when it comes to the time of day or number of times your pet needs to be cared for. I have reliable transportation so I will provide punctual and dependable pet care. I am also a good communicator, so you can always message me with any last minute information and expect to hear from me if your pet needs any special attention. I will take care of your pet and home with the utmost respect. I love to take my dogs on long walks and play with them in the house, so I will be happy to do the same with your pet. You can always message or call me with any other requests so that I can do my best to make sure your pet is happy and healthy.

“First, I will start off by saying that I don't give 5 stars lightly. My expectations are very high. Jen met and exceeded my expectations. I didn't think a mere mortal could do this. ;-) This was my first time booking through Rover. When I had any questions Jen was very prompt with replies and made me feel at ease. She also helped with navigating some Rover nuances. Jen showed up within our agreed upon timeframe. She checked in and out for each visit. She sent great pictures of both dogs every day, and she sent Rover cards very promptly. By the end of the week I didn't have a worry in the world about my dogs. If you love your pets then you should give Jen a chance to spend some time with them. They'd be lucky to have her.”

About: I've taken care of and have had pets for forty years, and would love to care for yours as well. I grew up raising Labador Retrievers, and have owned cats over the years as well. I've also had the pleasure of caring for and boarding friends' & families' pets, and having them in my home always brings me so much joy!!! About: I grew up in a household with dogs and cats, and as we've added kids to our family, we've fostered and taken care of plenty of extra animals. Our kids are raised as compassionate animals lovers, as this is core to our family values. Before relocating to this area from NYC, my husband and I both volunteered at animal shelters, cleaning cages, socializing pets, and walking dogs. We started our own petsitting business back then as we truly love animals and wanted to help take care of them. In NYC, we could only have a couple of cats, so we welcomed any dogs that we could get to know and bond with. We would clean up after the pets, make sure there is food and water along with any medications the pets may need, including insulin injections. I believe playing with the pets is very essential in establishing a good relationship with any dog or cat, it builds a solid foundation and leaves the animals feeling less lonely. I do a thorough job from start to finish and really enjoy the time I spend with every pet. I have a lot of experience in this field and would love to take care of your pet.

I am home during the summer to care for your dogs. I am free Monday-Fri after 5 pm and am free all day on weekends!!
