About: I had a border Collie for 17 years now an American shepherd for 1.5 years and he's fully trained already he's great just still a pup. Currently I work part time for an Amish company and I do morning pick ups and evening drop off with Thursday me being at the job all day. With time in advance I can move stuff around if need be. Im basically free all week during the times everyone is working. Well my dog i train and make sure he's behaving before he gets a reward. I don't always make him do stuff for tricks, but I practice commands daily and when it's not raining we go on walks, unfortunately he gets car sick so long drives aren't great for him still. I hug him tell him he's great tell him when he's done something bad as well, Play with toys and I'm currently working on him knowing what toy I'm telling him to get

About: I have a passion for caring and nurturing animals. I genuinely feel like they bring so much happiness to humans and deserve it right back! I’m currently working full time but want to invest my time in taking care of pets on weekends! I may even be available some weekdays! My home is also pet friendly and I have a fenced porch. “First, I will start off by saying that I don't give 5 stars lightly. My expectations are very high. Jen met and exceeded my expectations. I didn't think a mere mortal could do this. ;-) This was my first time booking through Rover. When I had any questions Jen was very prompt with replies and made me feel at ease. She also helped with navigating some Rover nuances. Jen showed up within our agreed upon timeframe. She checked in and out for each visit. She sent great pictures of both dogs every day, and she sent Rover cards very promptly. By the end of the week I didn't have a worry in the world about my dogs. If you love your pets then you should give Jen a chance to spend some time with them. They'd be lucky to have her.”

About: I am easy for dogs to get accusomed to, even dogs with difficulty towards others. I have spent a various amounts of time walking/sitting for friends over the years and also maintaining other animals (cats, reptiles, ferrets). I enjoy engaging with dogs and other animals to spend my time, and working with them to better their skills. I am generally free during the days and in the mornings. Evenings most nights as well. I can pop in and out to assist as needed for any type of to level of care. My schedule is all over but that's what helps me maintain an open yet closed schedule! I will maintain making sure your animals water is full, food is served per your food schedule. I don't mind giving medications. I will happily brush it do other general maintenance as needed!

About: Growing up with pets, I learned early on the responsibility and commitment it takes to care for an animal. Pets bring so much joy to the world and I feel it's essential to foster that happiness through service and attention, with a focus on safety and well being. I prioritize learning about the animals and their personalities in order to adjust to their specific preferences and needs. Making sure the animal is safe and happy is my goal. I currently work evening shifts at my current job so I have most mornings available. I am also able to request specific times and days off work a couple weeks in advance. About: Hello! My name is Rachel, I am a graduate student living in Lancaster and love to take care of your pets in my free time! I grew up with a big family and many animals including goats, horses, chickens, ducks, and a few dogs running around. I have always loved animals, especially horses and dogs. I also worked at Karen’s K9 Kare in Malvern for around a year. During my time there I gained experience dealing with large groups of dogs as well as bathing, training, and getting picky dogs to eat. The most essential skill I gained at this position is really how to manage stressed out animals, dealing with strangers can be difficult for many pets but I pride myself in being able to recognize what they need from me to make them as comfortable as possible.

About: I believe I am well suited for hands-on animal care and observation because I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and helping them feel safe and comfortable. My life experiences have taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of earning trust—qualities that allow me to connect with animals and provide the attentive, gentle care they deserve. I take pride in being dependable, observant, and willing to put in the time and effort needed to support their health and well-being. I’m home the majority of the time with an outing or two a day. The outing can last as long as 3 and a half hours. I take a half hour morning walk and can take a second walk after dinner. Your pet will be treated like family. I pay attention to their noises and motions to better understand their needs. I will walk the dog outside on their leash to relieve themself and feed them on their schedule.
