About: I have worked at a local animal hospital as a Veterinary Assistant the past 2 years. In this role I take appointments, handle and care for both cats and dogs, and assist the other veterinary staff. I am Fear Free Certified, meaning I took a course about animal behavior and how to best reduce stress on your pets. I have lived with dogs, exotics, and small animals my entire life and would love to help you out with any and all of your animals! I have experience with both large and small breed dogs having owned them myself, and regularly walk them. I dog walk as well as pet sit both cats and dogs in the area. I volunteer at a cat shelter in my free time, giving me some extra experience with rescue cats! I have volunteered at the SPCA before, walking the shelter dogs there as well as caring for the cats. I have also volunteered at a Rabies Vaccine clinic, helping the clients and their pets. About: I had a border Collie for 17 years now an American shepherd for 1.5 years and he's fully trained already he's great just still a pup. Currently I work part time for an Amish company and I do morning pick ups and evening drop off with Thursday me being at the job all day. With time in advance I can move stuff around if need be. Im basically free all week during the times everyone is working. Well my dog i train and make sure he's behaving before he gets a reward. I don't always make him do stuff for tricks, but I practice commands daily and when it's not raining we go on walks, unfortunately he gets car sick so long drives aren't great for him still. About: Hello! My name is Rachel, I am a graduate student living in Lancaster and love to take care of your pets in my free time! I grew up with a big family and many animals including goats, horses, chickens, ducks, and a few dogs running around. I have always loved animals, especially horses and dogs. I also worked at Karen’s K9 Kare in Malvern for around a year. During my time there I gained experience dealing with large groups of dogs as well as bathing, training, and getting picky dogs to eat. The most essential skill I gained at this position is really how to manage stressed out animals, dealing with strangers can be difficult for many pets but I pride myself in being able to recognize what they need from me to make them as comfortable as possible.

About: Hi! I have had pets my whole life. Growing up we had dogs and then beginning in 2006, I adopted my first cat and ultimately turned my family into cat lovers (we have 8 kitties between the various family members). If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
