About: Hello! My name is Rachel, I am a graduate student living in Lancaster and love to take care of your pets in my free time! I grew up with a big family and many animals including goats, horses, chickens, ducks, and a few dogs running around. I have always loved animals, especially horses and dogs. I also worked at Karen’s K9 Kare in Malvern for around a year. During my time there I gained experience dealing with large groups of dogs as well as bathing, training, and getting picky dogs to eat. The most essential skill I gained at this position is really how to manage stressed out animals, dealing with strangers can be difficult for many pets but I pride myself in being able to recognize what they need from me to make them as comfortable as possible.

About: I have worked at a local animal hospital as a Veterinary Assistant the past 2 years. In this role I take appointments, handle and care for both cats and dogs, and assist the other veterinary staff. I am Fear Free Certified, meaning I took a course about animal behavior and how to best reduce stress on your pets. I have lived with dogs, exotics, and small animals my entire life and would love to help you out with any and all of your animals! I have experience with both large and small breed dogs having owned them myself, and regularly walk them. I dog walk as well as pet sit both cats and dogs in the area. I volunteer at a cat shelter in my free time, giving me some extra experience with rescue cats! I have volunteered at the SPCA before, walking the shelter dogs there as well as caring for the cats. I have also volunteered at a Rabies Vaccine clinic, helping the clients and their pets. As someone who has worked with pets of all shapes, sizes, and ages, I would be happy to help with whatever you may need! I am very flexible, during the summer I am very free, and during the semester I balance Rover with my other animal-related job. Overall I can make most any day work! I am happy to perform whatever tasks needed to keep your cat or dog comfortable. I am able to take dogs out on a leash or let them go in a fenced in yard, whatever they are used to! I am happy to walk and play with them for whatever duration you would like.

About: Hours of availability on the weekends, Friday 5pm-Sun 9pm. Possibly before 5 on fridays depending on location. I Love dogs, and have had 3 jack Russell terriers and 2 German short haired pointers and now 2 Labrador retrievers. I want to make it easy for pet owners to do things and not have to worry about their pet. I have also been in charge of the grooming(nails,bathing etc) since I was young. I feel I can tell how/what dogs want, they call me the dog whisperer. Just want all dogs/animals to love me :) We now adopted 3 kittens in the last 6 years since they always find us. Let me care for your dog/cat while you enjoy yourself. I have had other animals, not just dogs, as I care for animals in general(fish,guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits, birds, cats). I have always been the dependable Neighbor and was always asked to watch the neighbors animals while they were away. I know how hard it is to find a caring person to watch your pet, instead of a kennel. I also have had to give my first dog insulin shots 2xs a day, also have given her medicine daily. Also give medicine/supplements to my current pets. Let me be that person.

About: I believe I am well suited for hands-on animal care and observation because I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and helping them feel safe and comfortable. My life experiences have taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of earning trust—qualities that allow me to connect with animals and provide the attentive, gentle care they deserve. I take pride in being dependable, observant, and willing to put in the time and effort needed to support their health and well-being. I’m home the majority of the time with an outing or two a day. The outing can last as long as 3 and a half hours. I take a half hour morning walk and can take a second walk after dinner. Your pet will be treated like family. I pay attention to their noises and motions to better understand their needs. I will walk the dog outside on their leash to relieve themself and feed them on their schedule.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats and have been caring for animals since I can remember. I watched many different breeds of dogs while in college. I’m available weekdays for walks, and weekends for dog/puppy sitting. I love all animals and have cared for many different breeds of dogs. I’m flexible so let me know what your pet needs. About: I have cared for my own pups and cats ever since I was four. Over the years, I’ve had a few hamsters, and I currently have a nine year-old Shih Tzu whom I adore. I just graduated from Wilson College where I did a few years of Veterinary Nursing. I am extremely passionate about animal care. I’ve gained valuable experience from working at a pet store for three years and from completed a year-long Veterinary Assistant program, which was extremely beneficial and geared my initial career choices. I am quite active and would love to take animals on walks or runs as needed throughout the day. I enjoy spending quality time with animals and playing with them. Additionally, I am comfortable administering medication, feeding, bathing, and brushing. I find cleaning quite stress-relieving, so I assure you that cleanliness is important to me. Routine: I try to Establish a consistent routine for feeding, walking, and playtime and /or go with a routine as similar as their usual one as I can. 2.Communication: Discuss the pet's routine, dietary needs, and any special instructions with the client. Maintain communication throughout the whole stay and beforehand. 3. Updates: I Keep the client updated on their pet's well-being through messages or photos. 4. Respect: I Treat the client's home with respect and follow any house rules they have set.
