Hi, my name is Erika! I recently moved to the Lancaster City area from Lebanon. I am a huge animal lover, whose passion for pets has only grown over the past couple of years. I work from home and have the ability to keep your pet company all day while you are away. I’ve taken care of a variety of animals from dogs to rabbits to cats! Over the past 3 years on Rover, I have had the privilege of taking care of many wonderful animals while their owners were away. Trips have varied from short weekend getaways, to long international vacations. I love to pet sit in the pet's home where they are most comfortable. This allows them to feel secure in their own place and I can work around their usual routine. I’ve found this causes less stress on the pet and less stress on their owners. Through all of my pet sits, I have built strong relationships with owners who trust I am putting their pet's needs first, which puts them at ease as well.

For doggie day care in my home, I like to make sure the pups feel comfortable. They are allowed on any furniture and to snuggle in any blankets. At this time I only provide over night pet sitting in clients homes. I find that this provides more comfort to the animals with being in their own environment. While I stay in clients homes I make sure to take care of it as I would my own home.

Erika took such great care of our 2 pups while we were out of town. She is very dependable and followed the care instructions we left. She was even able to help out with a last minute request of feeding crickets to our sons's gecko. And best yet, when we returned home, our house looked just as it did when we left. Always nice to know our pets and our home are well cared for while we are out of town. Thanks Erika!
Erika was wonderful with our Boston terrier. We highly recommend her. She gets back to you right away. She is extremely reliable. She sent us updates and pictures. We felt very comfortable with her. I was not worried at all during our trip knowing that she was at home with our fur baby. We would recommend and hire her again. Thank you Erika for a great experience,

Erika was very nice when she came to meet Rosie. I had booked her for an hour and she agreed. She was easy to communicate with and worked with me when I had to change times. The reason I gave her 2 stars is because she showed up at my house at 4:26pm and left at 4:50pm. She didn't even stay for 30 mins! She clocked out at 5:17pm on the app. I have video footage of her coming and going. I messaged her to please change the appointment time to a 30 min slot. I have a strong feeling if I didn't say anything she would have charged me a full hour. This makes me upset because we left our dog for a whole day and was really counting on her getting exercise and love. I am thankful my mother was able to come tonight instead of in the morning. I see she got 99 reviews, if you don't have cameras I highly suggest getting some. I am not a person to give a bad review, but this is not okay.
Erika did an awesome job watching our Bernese Mountain Dog in the home! We had no worries & she kept us up to date with pictures & texts. Highly recommend her!
We loved having Erika stay with our dogs. We were away for a week and our dogs were well cared for. Daily walks and snuggles were a part of each day. Erika communicated well and provided pictures. When we got home we found our home well cared for, as well. We would definitely love to have her stay with our sweet “babies” again.

Schedule
For me providing pet care is currently my side passion, I work fully remotely full time. This allows me to be present with your animal during the day to provide care. While I am staying with your animal I will try to keep the same routine you do with your pets!
