I adopted her after a loss in the family and take care of all her needs such as monitoring her leg after surgery, walking her, feeding her, grooming and making sure she is happy and comfortable. I also had my miniature poodle Booh who lived to be 18 years old. As she became older, she developed diabetes and I helped my family take care of her and make sure she was healthy. I also grew up with an Australian shepherd and a Goldendoodle, so I'm very comfortable taking care of big and small dogs. I've also had puppies and know what they require. “Where to begin. Colleen is quite literally the cutest and sweetest person we have ever had the privilege of meeting. We are first time parents to our newly adopted tortie kitten Bootsie. She’s four and half months old and is quite the handful, she’s also very attached to mom and dad. So it goes without saying we were a little nervous about leaving her side. Colleen came in and just blew us away with how patient and courteous she was to our fur baby from the start. We knew instantly we had found the perfect person to watch over her. She truly has a passion for what she does and eased any concerns we had. She was on time and gave us much needed updates throughout her stay. They bonded so well together we were shocked! I have an elderly guy with a lot of care needs such as pills, supplements, and a chronic wound and Anna did great with him. He’s tough to get to take his pills. When she couldn’t get them down at first, she asked for some tips and with some strategizing, was able to get my little guy’s meds into him. I came home to a tidy and orderly home. About: I have always loved animals since I was born. When I was in high school I started pet sitting all over lancaster and when I was a senior I went to school to become a veterinary assistant which lead to tech school. A decade later I am still in the veterinary field doing what I love… saving lives! I have experience from small animal to large and even experience with exotics/pocket pets. Madsion was great! We have two cats and a senior dog. Our dog, because he is older and takes meds, leaves us a little anxious when we leave him. From the time Madison came over to meet our pets we could tell she was a great fit. She bonded with the dog right away. We went away for our wedding and she made this trip so much better knowing our animals were in good hands. She gave us constant updates and sent pics everyday. She was so good with all the animals and would recommend her over and over again. I will definitely use her again. If I could give her 10 stars I would.

We have a 7 year old Saint Bernard (Maple) that we rescued when she was 4 years old. Unfortunately, Maple has a lot of life experience prior to us knowing her that leads her to be reactive to dogs, cats and some people that she has not met yet. Maple is 130 pounds, so walking Maple is an event that requires a lot of attention. We wanted to be as honest with Alexandria as possible and basically told her all of the horror stories. Alexandria happily responded with, "That's no problem at all." We set up a meet and greet and Alexandria was happy to take time out of her day and take extra time to make sure that Maple was comfortable when meeting. While we were away, Alexandria sent us multiple updates on Maple's status (which is usually sleeping) and all sorts of photos of our baby! Alexandria even let us know that Maple played with her and allowed Alexandria to give her belly rubs which is her true sign of being comfortable. This was our first experience with Rover. We were super reluctant to use it because of Maple being large and reactive but we could not be happier with Alexandria and the way she took care of Maple. We will 100% be hiring Alexandria again and cannot recommend her services enough! Everyone using Rover should be hiring Alexandria without a doubt. Thank you Alexandria!
I would give Philip a 10 out of 5 if I could! He did a fantastic job with our 2 pups. Communication was great and he even went above and beyond to make a purchase for one of our pups because it would make her more comfortable, even bought them treats and left them here. You can tell Philip genuinely cares for animals, his nature with is very natural - not forced. He is also a very friendly person and super easy to talk to. Zania is a treasure. For anyone looking for a responsible, respectful and caring dogwalker for the Lancaster County area, Zania is wonderful. I have a young active terrier and a very Senior, deaf and partialy blind terrier. She was very careful with both. Followed my care instructions and asked appropriate questions to determine how to best meet their needs. She fed them, gave potty breaks and gave my Senior dog her medications with no issues. The dogs loved her.
