Much practice in caring for special needs dogs that require meds and injections, happy dogs, standoffish dogs, high energy, and low energy dogs. I love them all. “Where to begin. Colleen is quite literally the cutest and sweetest person we have ever had the privilege of meeting. We are first time parents to our newly adopted tortie kitten Bootsie. She’s four and half months old and is quite the handful, she’s also very attached to mom and dad. So it goes without saying we were a little nervous about leaving her side. Colleen came in and just blew us away with how patient and courteous she was to our fur baby from the start. We knew instantly we had found the perfect person to watch over her. She truly has a passion for what she does and eased any concerns we had. She was on time and gave us much needed updates throughout her stay. They bonded so well together we were shocked! I had some bad experience with rover and I want to ensure every pet and pet parents feel comfortable and safe with pictures and updates! About: Hello! My name is Rachel, I am a graduate student living in Lancaster and love to take care of your pets in my free time! I grew up with a big family and many animals including goats, horses, chickens, ducks, and a few dogs running around. I have always loved animals, especially horses and dogs. I also worked at Karen’s K9 Kare in Malvern for around a year. During my time there I gained experience dealing with large groups of dogs as well as bathing, training, and getting picky dogs to eat. The most essential skill I gained at this position is really how to manage stressed out animals, dealing with strangers can be difficult for many pets but I pride myself in being able to recognize what they need from me to make them as comfortable as possible.
About: I had a border Collie for 17 years now an American shepherd for 1.5 years and he's fully trained already he's great just still a pup. Currently I work part time for an Amish company and I do morning pick ups and evening drop off with Thursday me being at the job all day. With time in advance I can move stuff around if need be. Im basically free all week during the times everyone is working. Well my dog i train and make sure he's behaving before he gets a reward. I don't always make him do stuff for tricks, but I practice commands daily and when it's not raining we go on walks, unfortunately he gets car sick so long drives aren't great for him still. I hug him tell him he's great tell him when he's done something bad as well, Play with toys and I'm currently working on him knowing what toy I'm telling him to get

About: I have several years of experience with other people’s pets, both walking and doing short care visits. Much practice in caring for special needs dogs that require meds and injections, happy dogs, standoffish dogs, high energy, and low energy dogs. I love them all. I’m a mature, responsible adult, fellow pet owner, and parent. I’ll always treat you, your pets, and your home with respect. I can feed, water, walk, clean up after, hug, and talk to your pets and make sure that they are safely having their needs met when you aren’t able to be there. I can check on your cats, small animals, mail, and plants while visiting as well if needed. Happy to help out with the pups and household extras during my visits!

About: I believe I am well suited for hands-on animal care and observation because I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and helping them feel safe and comfortable. My life experiences have taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of earning trust—qualities that allow me to connect with animals and provide the attentive, gentle care they deserve. I take pride in being dependable, observant, and willing to put in the time and effort needed to support their health and well-being. I’m home the majority of the time with an outing or two a day. The outing can last as long as 3 and a half hours. I take a half hour morning walk and can take a second walk after dinner. Your pet will be treated like family. I pay attention to their noises and motions to better understand their needs. I will walk the dog outside on their leash to relieve themself and feed them on their schedule.

It’s so wonderful to know I have a loving home for our girl when we need to leave her I really can’t say enough about Donna. I would recommend to anyone who has a hard time leaving their furry baby!
