“I can't say enough great things about Kristen! She takes care of our Teacup Yorkie with such kindness that I fell completely at ease while I am away. She keeps me updated with regular photos and messages, which gives me peace of mind knowing my dog is in great hands. She is trustworthy, caring, and experienced. I trust her wholeheartedly to look after my spunky little guy.”

“Kelsey is the best! This was my first time using Rover and leaving my cats for a weekend and Kelsey made it so easy. She communicated with me, sent pictures, and always showed up on time. I will absolutely be re-booking for my next trip:)”

“We were so thankful that Rachel was able to check in on our cats during our vacation. Rachel responded quickly to the request. During the meet and greet she asked great questions so she could learn more about our cats. When she cared for them she was attentive to their needs, checked the litter box and even brought in a package:)”

“Trustable, dependable, friendly, competent, compassionate, knowledgeable. Zania is everything one would want in a pet sitter. My babies were loved and didn’t even notice that I was gone!”

“Colleen was fabulous for drop-in visits while we were away on vacation: super responsive, thorough communication, and affectionate with our cats. We’ll definitely book with Colleen again!”

“I 110% recommend Malia!!! She was kind, trustworthy, and incredibly good with my kitty Dandelion. Dandelion loved her instantly and I can tell Malia has an excellent way with animals. I am so happy to have found her! :)”

“Thank you, Lexi, for another amazing time with Joy! Even though it was a hot day, you always have fun together and Joy perks her ears every time we say you're coming over. Thank you again for taking such great care of our girl!”

“Sophia was a great choice for our cats and fish and I’d highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs! 😊 She was super responsive and experienced with all sorts of animals, and kept us updated on our menagerie the whole trip. We would definitely book with her again.”

“Erin did an amazing job caring for our kitten. She was attentive, friendly, and kind. She provided excellent care for our little kitty and even went out of her way to take care of her. We would highly recommend Erin for anyone else and would happily ask her to help support our kitten in the future if needed.”

“Ashleigh and John were great! They were available last minute for a meet and greet with a drop in visit the following day. They communicated very well. They visited for a drop in where they took my Maxey on a nice long walk and then fed him dinner. They provided photos and a summary after their visit where they included that Maxey got in quite a dirty puddle with his front paws. They took time to clean his paws before feeding him which was so nice. I coincidentally checked my camera in my house as they were leaving and fed him dinner. I watched them say goodbye to him and pet him with love like a parent does. He looked so happy in all of the photos they sent! Very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them!”

“Ormari is great! She left detailed notes, delivered a lot of photos, and did a great overall job of caring for our cats while we were away. I highly recommend booking her for your cats!”

“Sarah was very helpful, communicative, and friendly. She made our new puppy happy and comfortable despite him being afraid of most things. She also communicated anything that was out of the norm for our puppy and asked questions when needed.”

“Sydney is AMAZING! She's taken excellent care of our pups whether a long weekend or stopping in during the day. She is always on time and responds right away, which I appreciate.”

“Hilary was absolutely amazing with Tron. She showed up at the perfect time and was extremely kind and courteous. I will definitely be rebooking for future events!!! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Alexis did and excellent job caring for my 3 German Shepherds! She spent quality time with them and really gained their trust. She was also always on time. I would highly recommend her!!!”

About: My experience with pets is based off of my very own pets that I take care of outside of college. Taking dogs out for walks and give them the proper exercise, make sure they are fed properly and regularly, and to give them the attention they need. For cats same applies for them as well. I'm a college student currently enrolled in Thaddeus Stevens and with my schedule I can on Monday's/Wednesdays from 12:00-4:00 Pm and afterwards I can come again from 7:00- 11:00 Pm. On Tuesday's/Thursday's I can come around 12:00 -3:00 Pm and afterwards I can also come from 5:00-10:00 Pm Weekends - If I don't currently have any weekend plans (You can contact me and ask if I do, or I'll inform you of my plans if asked. But I don't mind staying over a full weekend to watch your pets). The time's I can scheduled for a long weekend would be between Friday 2pm ( I have to finish my Am class 7:30 - 12:00) to Sunday 12pm. I provide pet care that focuses on safety, comfort, and consistency whether the animal is in my home or their own. I follow each pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and medications so they feel secure and supported. My home is fully pet‑proofed, and when I’m in a client’s home, I respect their space, keep things clean, and follow all household rules. I supervise pets closely, especially outdoors, and make sure they always have access to fresh water, a cozy resting area, and a calm environment. I also spend quality time with every pet, offering enrichment, affection, and reassurance to help them feel relaxed while their owner is away.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Conestoga Woods
Zania was a huge help when we needed her in a pinch. She is great with our two cats. One who is a love bug and the other a silent demon. She kept up with the litter, played with them and took an interest in their health / well-being. She's also easy to talk to and connect with. Signed, Happy Cat Parents!

Kristen was a lifesaver while I was away visiting family! She took great care of my two cats, was very communicative and went above and beyond to make sure my cats had everything they needed. They tend to hide from people and somehow they were comfortable enough to get close to her. I loved getting daily pictures and updates and was able to relax while I was away knowing they were in great hands!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Conestoga Woods. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
