About: While I am at school missing my pets, the next best thing is getting to care for yours! I have been pet sitting for over 5 years in my neighborhood and others. I have worked with various different animals: Cats, bunnies, puppies, senior dogs, dogs weighing up to 130 lbs or down to 2! I have always been an animal lover, and I will go far out of my way to make sure your animal is cared for. I have spent a lot of time around animals, so I know how to navigate different personalities and needs well! I have a schedule that leaves the late morning and lunch time of my day, along with nights after 5:30, pretty wide open! Weeks sometimes vary but I will make sure your pet is looked after. I make sure to follow the instructions you leave to ensure that your pet is as safe as possible! I want to make sure that they get what they need while also staying safe!

About: I grew up with pets since I was a little girl - raising 3 dogs and 2 cats. I’m currently not a pet owner, because although I’d love to, I live in a small apartment! However, I frequently help out family and friends with their own pets - rather that be pet sitting for a short weekend or walks throughout the day! I’m flexible and attentive. I can help with, but I’m not limited to: Feeding pets and putting out fresh water Brushing and grooming pets Bathing pets Cleaning litter boxes Walking dogs in all kinds of weather Vacuuming up pet hair Giving medications Taking pets to the vet in emergency situations Notifying owners of any injuries or sickness, and keeping them updated on their pets and home I look forward to working with you! I’m currently focused on building a flexible work schedule, which gives me plenty of time to provide attentive care for your pets. I’m available for walks, drop-ins throughout the week and weekends. “We found Malia on sort of short notice and she was terrific during the drop-in visits with our old girl, Tink. Tink has numerous health concerns and anxiety, which Malia handled with ease, having to carry her on the stairs due to her senility and poor eyesight, give her pills and follow special feeding instructions. She was even willing to make an extra drop-in as I was nervous about leaving Tink too long. She made both of us feel at ease seeing the photos of Tink carrying on with her usual outside play and then resting in her bed. I will be scheduling her again!!”

I’ve had a great experience with Maya! Both of my cats are very anxious and easily frightened, but she was incredibly patient and attentive with them. Hilary, like usual, did a wonderful job watching my two cats for a long weekend. My cats were fed well, always with fresh water, litter boxes scooped frequently, and had the attention they need.
