I pay close attention to each animal’s behavior and energy, so I can adjust care to what makes them feel safe and happy. Whether it’s a playful pup who needs activity or a more independent cat who prefers a calm environment, I make sure they’re well cared for, comfortable, and treated with patience and respect while you’re away.

I care for pets in a calm, attentive, and respectful way, always focusing on their routine and comfort. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely to keep their normal schedule consistent, this includes feeding, walks, playtime, litter care, and any special needs. I also make sure the home stays clean, safe, and secure while the pet is in my care. I take time to build trust with each animal at their own pace, whether that means giving space to settle in or engaging in active play and companionship. My goal is always to make them feel safe, cared for, and as comfortable as possible while their owner is away.

I’ve had a great experience with Maya! Both of my cats are very anxious and easily frightened, but she was incredibly patient and attentive with them. She made sure they were eating, comfortable, and well cared for during every visit. I especially appreciated the photo updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Maya took care of my senior chihuahua and was one of the only people I could trust with him. He has bad separation anxiety and she would spend extra time with him to make sure he was feeling comfortable. I got really cute pictures of him on my trips. Maya is one of our dog’s favorite people because she is so loving, kind, and playful with her. To have such a helpful and considerate person taking care of our anxious dog is invaluable. She has also taken care of our cat on numerous occasions with no problems whatsoever. We know we can trust Maya with our pets and our home.

Maya is a wonderful caregiver for my cat Mr. Jean. She is attentive to all his needs and takes time when checking on him to pet, play, and talk with him which brings him comfort. Maya follows all the instructions for Mr. Jean's care. She has stayed overnight in my home to care for Mr. Jean and is very clean, tidy and respectful of my home. Maya also goes out of her way to send me pictures and updates of Mr. Jean so I know he is getting the best cat care.
Maya has on multiple occasions cared for our pets, and I we have been nothing but thrilled with her. She is punctual, communicative, and reliable, not to mention our dog loves her. I would not hesitate to recommend Maya to anyone needing short or long term care for their animals.

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy it and naturally build my schedule around it. I plan my time so I can be fully present during visits, walks, or stays, and I’m flexible enough to adjust based on each pet’s needs. I’m currently available full time, so I can dedicate consistent attention and care.
