Top rated Lakewood Ranch dog walkers

“Wonderful walker who was chill around my energetic Golden and was able to manage his excitement. Carolina took great pics of Captain and really captured who he is on his walks, happy with a stick and running joyful. That let me know he enjoyed his time with Carolina and was comfortable with her — we will be rebooking!”

“Phenomenal girl! Responded quickly and sent the cutest pics of my pup! Would fully recommend hiring her and will continue having her walk my dog! She’s the best!”

About: I grew up with border collies and cats (the former obviously needing heaps of exercise)! I absolutely love dogs and cats and while I don't have my own, it gives me the time and energy needed to take care of yours. I have experience with oral pet medication, senior pups, overnight care and more! I'm currently on sabbatical from my recruiting job and using this time to work on my photography, do some traveling and just enjoy life a bit. Part of enjoying life is being around animals :). But I have a very flexible schedule these days. I'm not able to have pets where I live, so if overnight care or longer visits are needed, I would prefer to do so in your own home. I'm happy and able to use crates if that's preferred. I'm comfortable in all household environments.

About: I've had my fair share of childhood pets since I was born, from cats and dogs to reptiles and birds. Every pet I've ever met holds a special place in my heart, and I'm hoping your fur-baby will be next! I'm currently working part-time, so I have more than enough time to look after your pets. I have four days off per week, Sunday through Wednesday. I've worked with free-roaming dogs, fenced in yards, and crate-trained dogs. Relatives of mine have left the care of their dogs and cats to me more than once. I ensure that dogs are walked at least twice a day, and fed at their regular times.

About: I’ve taken care of all kind of breeds and owned many myself. I have also owned a bunny and know that animals take extra care and attention. My evenings are free to walk or spend time with your pet and I have time on the weekends to board. I do work full time but I am off work early. I love my pets and I take the care of mine and others pets with lots of care and attention. I have boarded and been a pet walker for years now.

About: Mother was a previous Vet Tech so I’ve grown up taking care of animals alongside her. Huge animal lover at heart. Caring for Neighbors, Bookings, and Family pets since I was a child. As excited to care for your pet as they are to receive care! Currently I am studying for my PTA National Exam, leaving my schedule pretty freely open to care for your pets. Weekends/ weekdays, pop ins, whatever you need! Safety and trust are important aspects. As a recent College graduate, my maturity reigns highly within myself. With maturity comes truthfulness and honesty. I will care for your home, pets and environment to my utmost ability.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and ages since I was a little kid. All of my pets have been rescues and a handful of them have had behavior issues/ special treatment due to past traumas. I'm willing to work with all pets, no matter their story. I’m currently a dental student at LECOM, which keeps me busy, but I’ve found a great balance between school and caring for my pets. I usually have half days at school, so I’m not gone for long. When I’m home, I focus on enriching my pets’ lives. My dog, Jonty, gets multiple daily walks, trips to our apartment’s dog park, and car rides to community parks or beaches. I live with my boyfriend, who works part-time and helps with the pets when I’m at school. Together, we make sure our animals are always well-loved and cared for. Our weekends are typically centered around Jonty—we go on hikes, beach trips, or long outings to make sure he burns off his energy (though some days, he prefers to snooze on the couch!). For my cats, I clean their litter daily and do a full litter change weekly, which is simple and affordable since I use pellet litter. I take pride in providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for all pets. I have extensive experience with animals of all types and temperaments. Before moving to Florida this year, I lived in San Diego, where I cared for two senior dogs. I’ve had several senior pets over the years and understand their unique needs, including mobility assistance, accidents, medication administration, and providing plenty of love and patience. One of my senior dogs, who stayed with my dad when I moved for school, is a reactive rescue. She came to us with significant trauma, and I’ve worked hard to ensure her safety and comfort while managing her reactivity. I’m very experienced in reading animal body language, diffusing tense situations, and safely managing pets with behavioral challenges. In my one-bedroom apartment, your pets are welcome and cared for as if they were my own. I prioritize their safety and comfort, with three litter boxes for the cats, a spacious dog park downstairs, and lots of time for walks, play, and snuggles. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, reactive, or needs a little extra care, I’m here to make sure they feel loved and secure in my home.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my dedication to understanding each pet's unique needs and providing personalized care. For any dogs, i know how to handle their special needs, like administering medication(oral) and providing gentle, appropriate exercise. My attention to detail ensures that every pet feels comfortable and loved, whether they're young or old. Plus, I always keep communication open with pet owners to make sure they're updated and reassured about their pet's well being Pet care fits into my daily routine by making sure I have specific times set aside for feeding, exercise, and play. In the mornings, I start with feeding and a walk or some playtime, depending on the pet. Throughout the day, I check in on them, make sure they have fresh water, and give them some attention. In the evenings, there's usually another round of feeding and of course walks! When I care for pets in my home, I make sure they have a cozy space with all their essentials like food, water, and a comfy spot to relax. I stick to a routine for feeding and exercise, and I give them plenty of love and attention. Dogs get regular walks and playtime.
