“Both Lori and husband Jim are very much dog lovers. Our pet Xena was well taken care of and it was obvious she enjoyed her stay. Pictures sent showed Xena was pampered just as much with Lori as she is at home. Will definitely book Lori again the next time we have an out of town trip.”

“Frances took such great care of my fur babies! I felt 100% confident leaving them with her. They were free to have full reign of the home as if they lived there. They also had a nice big back yard to explore if they wanted. She gave them extra perks like watermelon on a hot day (we talked in advance about treats) and a cooling mat to lie on. Don’t look any further! You’ve found a gem 💎”

“Jewell is a true jewel!! My nervous pup flourished with her and her sweet pups. My dog is a singlet and isn’t around dogs a lot !Jewell’s pups welcomed her into their home and became great friends with my pup. I appreciate the socialization she received while staying with Jewell. We will be using her again. She is amazing, her home setup is perfect. Jewell is fantastic for nervous dogs. Highly recommended!”

“Sadie went to Beth’s house for the weekend! She had fun and gets excited when she goes over there. Sadie & Snickers get along well, Beth is a great sitter, communicates and sends pics during her stay!”

“They are a really nice family and they always kept in touch with us, they send us pictures everyday I am really thankful with them because they took care of our dog like if they were the owners. I really recommend them”
“We couldn’t be happier with the care Viktoryia and her family provided for our corgi, Emma. From the initial meet and greet, we knew Emma would be in great hands and treated like part of their family. It was wonderful to hear that she got along well with Coco and their daughter. Throughout Emma’s stay, Viktoryia kept us updated with adorable videos showing Emma happy, comfortable, and having a great time. Those updates gave us peace of mind and made our vacation even more enjoyable. Viktoryia is an exceptional sitter, and we would gladly have her watch our Emma again!”

“She sent lots of pictures and was very accommodating with sh l schedule for pick up and drop off, as well as a meetup to make sure the dogs got along with her dogs. Plenty of space for the dogs to run around and play outside including a nice shaded area with a koi pond. Thank you for taking care of our dogs while we were away for the weekend.”

“You won't find a better pet sitter than Linda and her husband Brian. They are devoted to their sweet girl Carmi, who plays so well with any dog they bring into their home. I have no worries when I leave Hank, other than she will be booked the next time I need her. 😍♥️”

About: I have been in the animal field for more than 25 years. I was a vet tech and worked for a service dogs school. I am trained in emergency medicine and first aid for dogs. I love spending time with pets and showing them love. I am a full time teacher but I am off during the summer and would love to spend my time watching your pets. I have a 10 year old daughter and two additional dogs at home. I have a fenced in yard and a pool. No worries if your dog doesn’t swim we also have a fence around the pool. I have two large labs that are friendly and well trained. A daughter who loves animals and my husband is an iron worker. I have been trained with proper leash handling skills and dog behavior.
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience and genuine love for dogs. I’ve raised my own dog since she was 2 months old until she was 12.5 and crossed the rainbow bridge in May of 2026. So I understand every stage from puppy energy to senior comfort. I also grew up with family dogs and have even helped two dogs deliver puppies, giving me hands-on experience with newborns, mama dogs, and special care needs. I’m patient, gentle, and very attentive to each dog’s personality and routine. As a bilingual toddler mom with a naturally nurturing style, I make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and cared for like family. Your pet will get kindness, consistency, and the same level of attention I give my own. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I’m a full-time single mom, and my son absolutely adores animals—we spend a lot of time outdoors, going for walks, playing, and staying active. Adding your dog to our routine is easy and enjoyable for us. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’m already in a rhythm that allows your pet to get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day. In my home, pets follow a loving and consistent routine. I provide food twice a day (or according to your dog’s usual schedule), plenty of potty breaks, and a safe, cozy space to rest. There’s lots of playtime, outdoor time, and of course plenty of hugs and attention. I make sure every dog feels relaxed, cared for, and included as part of the family. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your routine exactly—feeding times, walks, crate use, and any special instructions—so your pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar environment.

“Riley was happy and well cared for. Abigail provided pictures and regular updates. She showed love and affection towards Riley and asked the right questions about feeding and walks etc. We will definately be using her again!”

“There are truly no words to describe how amazing rebecca is — she’s the absolute best of the best! From day one, she’s gone above and beyond in every single way and has genuinely become part of our family. Our dog lights up the second she sees her, and that says it all. She doesn’t just care for our pup — she loves her, spoils her, and treats her like her own. The level of kindness, reliability, and heart she puts into what she does is unmatched. We never worry for a second when our dog is with her because we know she’s getting the same love and attention she gets at home — maybe even more! She sends thoughtful updates, adorable photos, and always pays attention to the little details that make such a difference. People like her are one in a million, and we feel unbelievably lucky to have found her.”

“I had to leave my sick pup while I worked and Tiana and her daughter cared for him and kept me updated throughout the night and day which I appreciated so much. Thank you!”
“Mila had a great stay! They gave her lots of loving and sent pictures through out her stay! Whenever we go out of town again I know Mila will be in good hands:)”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lakewood Ranch
Ashley was wonderful with Lulu during our 6 night trip. She had great communication, sent daily photo updates, followed all of our care requests, and made us feel completely comfortable boarding our pup while we were away. Lulu was happy and well cared for when we picked her up, and Ashley even packed up all of her gear for pickup, which was so thoughtful. We would absolutely book with her again!

We had a wonderful experience with Amy! She provided daily photos and frequent updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Her communication was excellent, and it was clear she treated our dog as if she were her own. We couldn’t have asked for better care and would highly recommend her!

We are so glad we found Neha to take care of our little chihuahua mix when we’re gone! Neha watched her for more than a week, and we were always comfortable and confident that she was in competent, caring hands. Neha communicated regularly, with photos to keep us informed. We recommend Neha highly!

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
