I usually just try to match whatever the dog is used to at home. If they’re high energy, we’ll go on long walks, play fetch, or just get some good playtime in so they’re not bored. If they’re more chill, I’m totally fine hanging out, doing shorter walks, and giving them lots of attention. I’m big on keeping their routine the same — feeding them on time, making sure they get their potty breaks, and just keeping them comfortable. I know being away from their owner can be stressful for some dogs, so I try to make it feel calm and normal for them. And of course I’ll send pictures so you can see how they’re doing :)

I’ve grown up around dogs and have also fostered while in college, so I’m comfortable with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I think what sets me apart is that I’m very reliable and organized — I take routines seriously and understand that pets need consistency. I’m also very active, so if your dog loves long walks and staying busy, I’m a great fit. At the same time, I’m patient and calm with more anxious or slower-paced dogs.

Jessica did a wonderful job watching my dog Rigby while I was away on vacation. She would take him on lots of walks and I was very satisfied with the care and attention she put into watching him. I highly recommend her!
Jessica watched my dog Beth over a weekend I was out of town, and that was the most behaved my dog has ever been. She fell in love with Jessica, and Jessica’s become my go to pet caregiver.
