I have three roommates they I have known for years. At least one of us is home most of the day to take care of mid day potty breaks and cuddles. New pups will typically spend at least part of my workday crated, but we keep the crate time limited when we can.

We have a fenced in yard for pups to play in and regularly check the bottom of the fence for any gaps. They have shade and water outside. We have tons of beds, toys, and bones to share. We do ask they you not bring any of your own toys unless they have a comfort item for crate time. It can cause scuffles if any of the pups get territorial over something new. We keep a close eye on new pups, especially around the cats, until we know they are all friends. Any beds or blankets you want to bring for your pup just need to be washable in case of accidents.

Most important for me is whether or not your pup likes cats if they’re coming to my house. Our more playful pup does very well with playing with dogs they match his energy and leaving the calmer pups alone. If he gets a little too wild, he gets a special crate snack and takes a break.

I take my own boys with me almost everywhere and if yours enjoy the same activities, we’d be happy to have them. My boys love long walks so I try to find interesting new places like downtown or the park at Marina Jacks. Sometimes we even walk some nature trails in the area.

Hello! My name is Marlena and I love working with animals. Growing up my family has always worked with rescues and fostered dogs, on top of caring for our own fur babies. Working with so many fosters has given me experience with all kinds of different temperaments and medical conditions, so there isn’t much I haven't seen when it comes to dogs. I’ve never met a dog I couldn’t win over eventually and love having the opportunity to show new furry friends that people are good. I have two cats, Princess Buttercup and Wesley that rule the house. I have my dog pack, Toby, Munchkin, Sully, Tito, and Gryffindor, all rescues. I try to include my pets in everything I do outside of work. Whether it’s a day snuggled up at home with Princess Buttercup, out kayaking with Toby, or taking the pack to a local trail for a walk. My free time goes to the animals. The pack pups are pros at meeting new Rovers. I make sure they do not overwhelm the visiting pups, but they usually match the energy level of their new friends pretty well on their own.

Marlena was so great with our boy and kept us up to date with plenty of photos and videos! We will definitely be bringing our dog back to her any time we need a sitter.
