Retired couple who truly love dogs.
I have loved dogs since childhood however as many children was not allowed to have a dog. As soon as I was gainfully employed I adopted my first fur baby, a miniature poodle who passed at age 14. While my children were growing up, we had a Chocolate Labrador Retriever and toy and miniature poodles who have since passed. Currently, my fur baby, is a toy poodle. My husband and I are now retired and want to do what we love, that is, care for pups.

Thelma is a great sitter, reliable and trustworthy. Katie enjoyed her stay at her lovely home. It is such a relief to know that Katie is being well cared for. We look forward to using Thelma again in the near future.
My mini-golden doodle loved her stay. Thelma has 2 small poodles, whom my girl played with fine. Thelma has a lovely home with a fenced-in backyard, and she takes the dogs for a walk around her neighborhood several times a day. My girl is tired after her weekend stay - always a good sign :-) We will be sure to book with Thelma again!
Thelma is a pro. Maggie did well with Thelma and her gang. We really appreciated Thelma’s updates in the initial days of Maggie’s stay. Maggie returned home in a much better state than she does in previous stays at a kennel. We will definitely use her again!!
Thelma is the best. Beatrice does well in a home setting, feels safe, and doesn't come home stressed. I trust Thelma -- she treats Bea like one of her own. Highly recommend.
Gabe had another super visit. Was able to play with his buddy! Thelma even accommodated to take Gabe early.

Schedule
My husband and I are retired and available during the week and weekends for pup care. We are flexible with respect to pickup and drop off times but prefer not earlier than 7:30am or later than 9pm.

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is hedge fenced with tie outs. The pups are always supervised outside and on the lanai. The pups sleep in our office or laundry room and never sleep alone. We will crate your pup if recommended.
Pets
A typical day
One to two mile long walks through the neighborhood, if the pup is able. Trips to nearby dog parks if requested. Swimming if pup is inclined and weather permitting. Lots of toys to play with if pup is so inclined.
