“Shianne is an exceptional dog walker! She's incredibly dependable, flexible, and has fantastic communication. She's also wonderfully sweet with our two corgis, and always makes sure they get a great workout. Our Lulu, who is obsessed with greeting people on her walks, especially loves her time with Shianne. She's my go-to person for our pups!”

About: We are a loving household comprised of myself, my husband, our two kiddos and two sweet hound dogs. Frito is a yellow hound/lab mix who loves to sleep and hang with his family. Bacca is a coonhound with the attitude to match! He likes to express himself often and loudly, but can be a very chill guy once he's gotten his sniffs in. Both are friendly towards all kinds of other dogs. We have experience with dog sitting in our home and we have in the past fostered deaf dogs (through Deaf Dogs of Oregon rescue) while they are found their forever homes. Our house isn't large, but the dogs are basically in charge and we like it that way (they are our kids, along with our human kiddos!) We have a large fenced back yard for the pooches to run in as well. About this sitter: My husband works outside the home and my main job is stay at home mom to my two kiddos (so I'm home a lot!).I love hanging out with my dogs and kids most of the time. We like to hang out in the big back yard. My hubby is a big help with the dogs as well. Why I love dog sitting Both my husband and I grew up loving dogs. My family always had two or three dogs on my parents' 4 acre homestead. We always had big dogs, and a few wiener dogs. They were always part of the family. My husband Justin rescued our late dog Jughead when he was a puppy from a neglectful home, and trained him up to be an awesome dog, who we still miss very much. We adopted our dog Frito together when he was 8 weeks old and he's grown up in our care a very good boy. Our coonhound Bacca is good at very loudly expressing himself (especially when you first meet him!) but he really just wants to be everyone's friend and get pets and okay. About my yard We have a large backyard, about 1/3 of which is covered. The rest is open, with large pine and cedar trees in the back third of the yard near the back fence. We have couches that the dogs often run around, and over when they are playing. There isn't much grass (it won't grow) and the dirt gets a bit dusty when its dry. The dogs like to run, play, and lay out in the sunshine. I am a stay at home mom currently so I'm very flexible with accommodating your dogs needs. I'll be available for drop in visits and walks during the week while my kids are at school, and more often on the weekends if your pet is friendly around children. I have a large fully fenced back yard and two dogs too keep your dog company. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.
About: I have been a certified veterinary technician for 6 years. I've been taking care of pets ranging from fish, reptiles, dogs, and cats for pretty much my entire life! I also worked as a positive reinforcement dog trainer for a couple years while in tech school. As a veterinarian technician, I feel confident administering medications, am comfortable with animals with medical conditions, and also know dog/cat CPR. I also have experience with fearful or reactive animals. I no longer work in a veterinary hospital so I able to spend as much time w your pets as needed. I am currently open to booking any day of the week and can stay overnight. While I'm at home I am always cuddled up with one of my pets and it would be no different in your home! As a pet sitter/walker, my goal is to give your pets the attention they want and follow the routine you have. I want their time away from you to be as stress free as possible. I do not let pets under my care socialize with unknown animals or people. I also do not do off leash activities unless in a fenced in area.
“Our dog doesn't have a lot of experience with sitters, and Allison knew just how to patiently interact with her as she warmed up to her new friend. We're also going through a house move, so our pup and cats are going through lots of change. It feels good to know that Allison brings the experience we need as an animal lover.”

“Lee is awesome! They are understanding and caring! Our dog is a lot to handle but Lee is really patient with him. Such a relief to have a dog walker who we can count on! Thanks Lee”

About: I was a devoted dog owner for 13 years, caring for my Chihuahua from a pup to an old happy girl. In her later years, I gained experience with senior dog care, including administering medication, monitoring health changes, and providing extra patience and gentle attention. While I don’t currently have a pet of my own, I truly miss that companionship and would be honored to care for yours like family. I work the farmers markets on Saturday and Sunday, so my availability is limited to after 3pm on the weekends. I will also have limited availabilities on Monday's with just 1 walk / 1 visit. I update my calendar often but please feel free to message me to confirm availability. I care for pets based on their individual needs and routines. In a client’s home, I aim to keep everything as normal and stress free as possible by following feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions you provide. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection, while also keeping their environment clean and safe. I’m also comfortable giving medication if needed and will keep you updated with messages and photos for peace of mind.
About: I am a reliable, caring pet sitter with two cats and a big dog of my own. I have lots of experience caring for others’ pets and genuinely love animals of all kinds. I am happy to accommodate any needs you or your pets have :) I am in college with a relatively easy schedule! I am always available in the evenings and weekends, and happy to visit your pets between classes! The pets I care for always receive endless love and attention, are fed on a regular schedule, and are given as many toys and as much time to play as they want! I am also familiar with administering medicine and physical therapy!
About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: Loved and cared for my dog for 15 years but she has sadly passed; I also regularly dog-sit for friends. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and enjoy taking them for walks, on hikes, or playing at the park. I work well with any type of dog personality, high energy or shy. Whether your dog just needs a stop in visit or a walk, I will spend my time bonding with your pet and making sure that he/she is comfortable around me. My goal is to make a new furry friend and give it the attention and love it is missing while you are away from home! I will provide endless amounts of belly rubs and attention; it probably brings me just as much happiness as it does your pet! I can guarantee at least one really cute photo of your pet (most likely more) :)
“Seth was incredibly patient with my anxious pup who gets stressed around new people. He clearly has a strong understanding of working with dogs and he developed a lot of trust with my dog in a short period of time. His daily updates and pictures were much appreciated. He even did some training with my pup as a way to build trust and confidence in her. We can’t wait to hire Seth again!”

About: I've had dogs all my life, I have a 3 year old Boxer right now who's full of energy and love. I have many years of experience in dog walking and care, ranging from small sized dogs to extra large sized dogs. Also having experience involving kennels/crates. I'm currently a freshmen in College and work part-time at a doggy daycare. I am always available after 6pm, and normally free Tusedays and Wednesday after 1pm. Other than that my schedule can vary. I have a fenced in backyard and a very friendly medium sized dog to give your dog a playmate. If needed I can easily keep them separated and have crates/separate spaces on hand.

“Julie has walked our doodle a couple times now and we are in love! We appreciate the updates she gives and the photos of our dog after every walk, would absolutely recommend!”

“This is the second time Mara has helped me out with taking my pup on a walk while I’m at work. She is so great with my girl and sends the cutest pics and videos of their adventures. It’s wonderful having peace of mind that your furry child is well taken care of while you’re gone! She’s the best!”

About: Hi there :-) I have been responsible for the care of pups since I was 12 years old! I have loved pet-sitting over the years for friends and family. After the passing of my own dog, Jackson, last year, I have found great comfort in caring for others’ sweet babies. I would be delighted to share my genuine love for dogs and unique senior pet care experience with you and your pet! I am heading to law school in the fall and am excited to have this be my sole workload currently. Because of this transition, I have lots of schedule flexibility and am looking forward to serving you! I keep a clean, quiet, and safe home and am excited to offer that space to your fur bb if we are the right fit! During home visits at your home, I take high importance on leaving the place as it was when I stepped in. I will always prioritize leaving as little trace as possible and making sure your fur baby makes it to and from home as safe as possible.
About: **Please note that I am only boarding dogs that are friendly with cats at this time** I've been called a dog whisperer on more than one occasion... Ever since I was a child (look through my photos for me as a kid hanging out with my pets!), I've always been around animals. I currently live with a Goldador, Sage, and a kitty, Roo, and have been pet sitting for many years and active on Rover for eight years. I have a flexible schedule and mainly work from home, which means I have time to do walks and exercise before work, during lunch, and/or after work every day. If you are interested in a timeframe that my calendar says I'm unavailable, please still reach out. I may be able to move some things around to make it work! I own a house with a great backyard for dogs. Check out the end of my photos for details. I never leave the pups outside when I’m not home, and Sage and I like to keep a consistent schedule so that she knows when food, exercise, and downtime happen.
“Aislynn was such an awesome walker and would highly recommend her! She took such great care of our dog and cat, and we would book her again in a heartbeat. We were in constant communication and the pictures we got every day were great. Thelma and Bourbon would love to see you again!”

Lake Road dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jason will be your dogs (and) your Best Friend. They go on a morning daily- a mile plus - for an hour. Actually the 7 lb Daisy is a bit of a diva and when she wants to stop she is tucked inside his Jacket for the rest of her walk. The trio has friends from miles around Oak Grove.

First time having Sequoia walk Otto and both days she was extremely communicative and wonderful! I appreciate her timely response and punctuality and I can see how passionate she is about dogs. I felt very confident and safe letting her care for Otto. Would love to book her again. Thank you! 🙏

Madeline has been absolutely wonderful with our two dogs, who couldn’t be more different in personality and needs. She’s incredibly attentive, patient, and clearly takes the time to understand each of them individually. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were both cared for in a way that suited them best.

Megan is great! I have a very reactive/slow to warm up dog and Megan has been patient and kind as he has warmed up. My dogs are also very energetic and needy. I feel at ease knowing Megan will take care of them on their daily walks. Megan always provides detailed notes on how the walk went. Megan is always on time and is very reliable. I would recommend Megan to any friend or family!
