About: We are a loving household comprised of myself, my husband, our two kiddos and two sweet hound dogs. Frito is a yellow hound/lab mix who loves to sleep and hang with his family. Bacca is a coonhound with the attitude to match! He likes to express himself often and loudly, but can be a very chill guy once he's gotten his sniffs in. Both are friendly towards all kinds of other dogs. We have experience with dog sitting in our home and we have in the past fostered deaf dogs (through Deaf Dogs of Oregon rescue) while they are found their forever homes. Our house isn't large, but the dogs are basically in charge and we like it that way (they are our kids, along with our human kiddos!) We have a large fenced back yard for the pooches to run in as well. About this sitter: My husband works outside the home and my main job is stay at home mom to my two kiddos (so I'm home a lot!).I love hanging out with my dogs and kids most of the time. We like to hang out in the big back yard. My hubby is a big help with the dogs as well. Why I love dog sitting Both my husband and I grew up loving dogs. My family always had two or three dogs on my parents' 4 acre homestead. We always had big dogs, and a few wiener dogs. They were always part of the family. My husband Justin rescued our late dog Jughead when he was a puppy from a neglectful home, and trained him up to be an awesome dog, who we still miss very much. We adopted our dog Frito together when he was 8 weeks old and he's grown up in our care a very good boy. Our coonhound Bacca is good at very loudly expressing himself (especially when you first meet him!) but he really just wants to be everyone's friend and get pets and okay. About my yard We have a large backyard, about 1/3 of which is covered. The rest is open, with large pine and cedar trees in the back third of the yard near the back fence. We have couches that the dogs often run around, and over when they are playing. There isn't much grass (it won't grow) and the dirt gets a bit dusty when its dry. The dogs like to run, play, and lay out in the sunshine. I am a stay at home mom currently so I'm very flexible with accommodating your dogs needs. I'll be available for drop in visits and walks during the week while my kids are at school, and more often on the weekends if your pet is friendly around children. I have a large fully fenced back yard and two dogs too keep your dog company. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.

About: I have been a certified veterinary technician for 6 years. I've been taking care of pets ranging from fish, reptiles, dogs, and cats for pretty much my entire life! I also worked as a positive reinforcement dog trainer for a couple years while in tech school. As a veterinarian technician, I feel confident administering medications, am comfortable with animals with medical conditions, and also know dog/cat CPR. I also have experience with fearful or reactive animals. I no longer work in a veterinary hospital so I able to spend as much time w your pets as needed. I am currently open to booking any day of the week and can stay overnight. While I'm at home I am always cuddled up with one of my pets and it would be no different in your home! As a pet sitter/walker, my goal is to give your pets the attention they want and follow the routine you have. I want their time away from you to be as stress free as possible. I do not let pets under my care socialize with unknown animals or people. I also do not do off leash activities unless in a fenced in area.

About: I was a devoted dog owner for 13 years, caring for my Chihuahua from a pup to an old happy girl. In her later years, I gained experience with senior dog care, including administering medication, monitoring health changes, and providing extra patience and gentle attention. I work the farmers markets on Saturday and Sunday, so my availability is limited to after 3pm on the weekends. I will also have limited availabilities on Monday's with just 1 walk / 1 visit. About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: Loved and cared for my dog for 15 years but she has sadly passed; I also regularly dog-sit for friends. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and enjoy taking them for walks, on hikes, or playing at the park. I work well with any type of dog personality, high energy or shy. Whether your dog just needs a stop in visit or a walk, I will spend my time bonding with your pet and making sure that he/she is comfortable around me. My goal is to make a new furry friend and give it the attention and love it is missing while you are away from home! About: I've had dogs all my life, I have a 3 year old Boxer right now who's full of energy and love. I have many years of experience in dog walking and care, ranging from small sized dogs to extra large sized dogs. Also having experience involving kennels/crates. Ever since I was a child (look through my photos for me as a kid hanging out with my pets!), I've always been around animals. I currently live with a Goldador, Sage, and a kitty, Roo, and have been pet sitting for many years and active on Rover for eight years. I have a flexible schedule and mainly work from home, which means I have time to do walks and exercise before work, during lunch, and/or after work every day.
