About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! About: I’ve been taking care of my friend’s dogs for a couple years. Whether that’s walking them, feeding them, taking them out to go potty, I am completely experienced in all of those fields. Having had a dog of my own for 6 years, I know how to handle any sort of situation and how to be flexible with other dogs wants and needs. I have plenty of time this summer to help out and play with your pups! I’m available Mon-Fri after 12p and I’m willing to be flexible with times/days! I always make sure my dog’s food and water is filled and put pee pads down when I know I’m going to be away from the house for a little while. Before I start walking my dog I always make sure I have doggy bags filled and sometimes I’ll bring a rubber water bowl for hotter days.
