About: I grew up with dogs, cats and rabbits I’ve always truly loved animals and spending time with them, taking care of them, giving them all the love and attention they need/deserve. About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! About: I've been caring for pets for over 11 years and have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I understand that every dog is unique and take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and needs. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, multi-dog households, and pets who may need a little extra patience and reassurance. I currently have availability for walks and drop-in visits in the afternoons and evenings, with additional flexibility on certain days. I carefully follow each pet's routine, feeding schedule, medication instructions, and exercise needs. I take time to build trust with every animal and always use secure leashes and harnesses during walks. About: Have experience raising puppies and bottle feeding as young as 3 weeks. I have worked with puppies as well as providing care and medication for our older puppies on end of life care. I love my animals like my family and I will love yours as if they are my own! I have two dogs of my own at home so I am used to incorporating potty and feeding times into my daily schedules. I work a nontraditional schedule and I am often available mid day and weekends! I have a small fenced in backyard as well as ample places to provide walks to your dogs in the area immediately surrounding my apartment complex. I do live with two dogs and one cat in my home.
