About: Pets have always been a part of my life, and I pride myself on treating others' animals with the same tenderness and attention that I give my own pets. I am gentle and intuitive friendly human to all critters, and love dogs and cats equally. I pay attention to the details in terms of the animals needs and signals and am happy to communicate anything that seems odd or that I am unsure about. I am an educator on summer break and have great availability. There will be a week here or there when I am helping at school, but otherwise my schedule is wide open. I take great care to follow owner instructions. I make a point to connect with pets do matter how brief a visit is. Kindness, trust, and communication are at the top of my list. About: I had two cats that I grew up with from when I was five to my early adulthood. I cherished my two cats and spent a lot of time helping take care of, assisting in things such as feeding them, cleaning and changing their litter, brushing them, and making sure they are healthy overall. I also have quite a lot of knowledge on caring for elderly cats due to having to help my oldest cat when he was in his twilight years (he lived to be 23).

About: I grew up with dogs, cats and rabbits I’ve always truly loved animals and spending time with them, taking care of them, giving them all the love and attention they need/deserve. Mainly throughout the years I’ve taken care of cats more and sometimes a few dogs. I’m more fond of cats and know how to give them what they need and when they need space or food I can understand quickly. I’m always happy to care for dogs though especially since it’s fun to go on walks, have playtime with them. I will try my best to make sure every pet feels safe, content and happy with me I currently work part time at the Moda Center and it’s but only twice or once a week so I have most days off and so much free time so I really want to keep busy as much as possible and help people out in the process! I’d like to say I’m an observant person and very caring aswell, I tend to check in a lot even if it’s not needed and keeping track of when pets need to be let out, feed, given medication, any of the sorts im right on time. I also give pets time to adjust to me before jumping into touching them, I like to let them come to me first to make them feel comfortable if they are shy. If they are messy i don’t mind cleaning up a mess/cleaning up poop/pee

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I decided to start my own neighborhood dog-sitting business when I was 10 years old. About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

“Bri is a sweet, gentle person and I felt safe leaving my relatively recent rescue doggy with her and her dog family. Her backyard is giant, grassy, with several large trees. A really beautiful setting. She is somehow able to manage babysitting multiple dogs with grace. The photos she sent of my dog sleeping and playing with other dogs were priceless. Will definitely be a repeat boarder!”
