He also was highly traumatized before we adopted him, so new people make him very agitated. deline was amazing with him. She was kind enough to agree to a pre vacation meetup before our holiday. She listened to our concerns and clearly treated him well. By the time we came home a week later, she was his bestie. Adeline sent us photos periodically with updates and seemed to really care about them, offering to sit for us again in the future. “We recently hired Kay to petsit overnight in our home for 8 days while we were out of state for business and vacation. She did an absolutely fantastic job taking care of our 2 dogs, a younger male Samoyed and a senior, special needs female Siberian Husky, 2 senior male cats, and 4 male cockatiel birds. Our Siberian Husky also required the administration of daily oral medications. Kay kept in daily communication with us regarding the status of our dogs, cats, and birds, sent us daily photos of our pets, and promptly responded to any of our questions, concerns, or inquiries. Our pets appeared calm, relaxed, and happy in the photos Kay sent to us. Kay also went above and beyond her petsitting duties by bringing in several large packages that were delivered to our home, coordinating access to our home for an outside service vendor, and leaving our house in a clean and orderly manner upon our return. Kay was a pleasure to work with, is responsible and mature, takes her responsibilities seriously, and exudes a true love, joy, and compassion for taking care of animals. Kay definitely put our minds at ease while we were on our trip knowing that our fur and feather babies were getting lots of attention and excellent care during our absence. “Taylor got along great with our tricky, anxious dog, and our senior cat loved snuggling with her. My partner calls her “the dog whisperer.” She was very attentive to our instructions, asked for clarification when needed, requested a video of how to give the cat his medication the right way, and communicated with us regularly and shared lots of videos. Our elderly dog had a medical issue come up while we were gone, and she had the supplies and experience to get him into her car and to the emergency vet, then spent the whole afternoon and into the late night at the vet with him. She was very reassuring through a difficult time and it helped so much to be able to trust that he was in expert hands. We didn’t know how we could possibly take a vacation due to our pets’ high needs, and we’re so glad we found Taylor!! We returned to happy pets and a home that was just as we left it.”

Kieran was absolutely wonderful with my dogs. He took the time to come by beforehand to meet both dogs and even walked my feisty little dog ahead of my trip—which made all of us feel comfortable right away. While I was away, Kieran kept me at ease with regular check-ins, photos, and quick responses whenever I had questions. I came home to two very happy dogs—and a house that looked exactly the same as I left it, which I truly appreciate. There was even a five-hour power outage while I was gone, and he handled it without a single complaint. On top of that, Kieran made sure my plants were watered during a stretch of 90-degree weather—definitely going above and beyond. Kieran has such a calm, easygoing demeanor, and I felt completely secure having them in my home. I will absolutely be hiring Kieran again and look forward to working with them throughout the coming year.
Raven was excellent with our skittish rescue terrier, Frankie. She has severe separation anxiety and cannot be left alone for more than 30 seconds and Raven was the first person to watch her since we adopted her 5 months ago. We were surprised by how fast Raven won over her trust! I'd recommend Raven to anyone with an anxious pup!
Taylor is amazing! She sat our 5 mo old puppy for a long weekend and provided the best care!! This was our first time away from Corra and it was so reassuring to work with Taylor! She is super communicative - she checked in regularly, asked questions when needed, made sure we were on the same page, and provided detailed updates about how Corra was doing. She also shared so many photos and videos, which was so helpful for our kid who was missing Corra big time! I will definitely book with Taylor again and would recommend her to my friends and family.
Carrie was delightful with my pups and cat... she sent me lots of photos and I could tell my fur family missed Carrie after she left and we returned home. While I'm certain my fur family members were at first confused, the photos Carrie sent showed they quickly adjusted and settled in... clearly Carrie cares. There were some "accidents" shall we say, and Carrie kindly took care of those to the extent that I wouldn't even have known they had happened had she not reported the update to me on her first day. This was my first experience with Rover and although I was very skeptical about using the service, Carrie helped me overcome my concerns with empathy and kindness. Thank you, Carrie!
This was our first time using Rover so we were very nervous having someone watch our dog Lunar at our house while he was recovering from pneumonia. To say we were happily pleased is an understatement! Sparkle was so communicative and made us feel comfortable! We got so many pictures, updates, and videos which I loved! Tayler was amazing! Both of my boys warmed right up to her. She sent video and photo updates every day, sometimes more than once a day. Susan has been dog sitting and weekly walking my 2 pit bulls for a couple of years now. She has been so wonderful with my girls. She genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and is very communicative about how they’re doing and giving updates. My dogs require daily medication and she gladly gave it to them without issue. My dogs are also a bit difficult to walk as they pull and are dog reactive. Susan took it all in stride. She has recently moved away and I am so sad that I won’t be able to continue having her help with my dogs. They are always happy and have clearly been well cared for when I return.
