Pet care fits in just perfectly. I am an artist who settled in Portland Oregon with their two huskies years ago. Now it’s my two Scottish folds Orpheus and Orion, My mothers baby Lucy, our new husky Rose, my wife and I. We love all animals and work from home so happy to spruce this planet up with the best addition, animals :)

At home we have a larger yard with lots of room to play with our pets. Overall good pet friendly environment. Working from home I can spend a lot of time with them and with your pets in between. Being a watercolorist I get lots of time in between washes to let paint dry! Plenty of time to make animals lives better.
Information Taylor S. would like to know about your pet
I prefer to know about your dogs history so I can make sure to factor anything in on their walks. For example, if they react to other animals or people, or if they are scared of vehicles. If they have any forms of aggression and how you navigate that. Any allergies or medical conditions, even if I will not be administering I think it is good to know the animals physical condition so I can note if I see any signs during my visits with them. If they have had past surgeries or are in recovery so I can make sure they are taken care of properly.
A typical day
I am happy to take them somewhere nearby as I have a vehicle fully equipped for them. Exercising them is also not a problem as I love to jog and run. If they aren't able to do much exercise we can take simple preferred routes around your neighborhood.

Animal lover & human enthusiast
Pet care experience
Nice to meet you here in this little corner of the internet. I’d love to share a bit about who I am and what I hope to offer you and your pet. Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. There has never been a moment when I didn’t share my home, and my heart, with one. Each animal I’ve loved has shaped me, guided me, and influenced how I move through the world. The bond between humans and animals is something I find both indescribable and essential, and it’s the reason I’ve shifted from a career that no longer fulfilled me to one that brings me purpose every single day. I believe the relationship you have with your pet is both the most effortless and the most challenging one you’ll ever navigate. The love comes easy; the logistics sometimes don’t. Work, travel, schedules, responsibilities, you can’t always bring your pet with you, and that can create stress for both of you. If that feeling is familiar, I’m here to help. I’m compassionate, patient, and deeply respectful of every animal’s unique personality. I have shared my life with three Siberian Huskies who each have very specific needs, so I understand firsthand what it’s like to search for a sitter who truly “gets” your pet. What I appreciate most about this process is the opportunity to connect personally, so you can ask me anything, and I can learn exactly how your pet is loved and cared for. My goal is to make sure they experience the same comfort, routine, and understanding while they’re with me. I also have 4 cats of my own! all of whom come with very different sets of dos and do nots. I like to say it that way because cats are so so much different than dogs and I have experience taking care of all different kinds. I also have hands-on experience with pets who need a little extra support—dogs with big feelings, cats with specific needs, and animals navigating transitions, particularly through my time working with dogs at the humane society. While I’m not medically trained, I’ve taken classes, learned from professionals, and supported my own dog through behavior work. If you’ve ever felt anxious about finding the right sitter or walker, I’ve been there, and I’m happy to meet with you to see if I’m the right fit for your family. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. If we’re a good match, I look forward to caring for your pet and helping lighten your load, even just a little.

Taylor was incredible! So communicative, professional and left me so at ease that my dog was well taken care of while I was away. Taylor clearly has a love for animals and is a true professional in this space. Will absolutely book Taylor again!

We really appreciated Taylor’s communication with us throughout the stay, as well as the interactions she had with our dog and cat. We recommend Taylor for your house and pet needs!i

Taylor is fantastic - responsive, easy to work with and takes really good care of my dog. I highly recommend her!

We booked with Taylor to walk our husky mix, Ruby. Taylor was communicative with us, arrived on time, and is experienced and comfortable working with big, smart dogs. We will book again!
