About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life! I have a medically complex cat, so I’m very experienced with giving pills and administering medications. As a pet owner myself, I understand how stressful it can feel to be away from your pet. My goal is to care for your animal with the same attention and genuine care I give my own, so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I’m currently a medical student at Oregon Health & Science University completing a dedicated research year, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout much of the week. Taking dogs on walks or spending time with animals has become one of my favorite ways to step away from studying, get outside, and recharge, so I’d love for your pet to join me! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions before every visit. Whether I'm walking your dog or caring for your pet in your home, I make sure they have fresh water, plenty of attention, playtime, and a positive experience. I always keep cats indoors and dogs leashed unless instructed otherwise in a secure, designated area. I also provide owners with regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

For dogs, I understand leash control, situational awareness, and the value of structured walks. I’m happy to follow your handling instructions so your pet’s routine stays consistent. I have completed clicker training along with foundation and advanced canine fitness courses. For cats, I know they need gentle, calm, and stress-free care. I have experience caring for cats with different personalities and am familiar with cat behavior and body language. My work as a pet photographer has given me a lot of hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all temperaments. About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: **Please note that I am only boarding dogs that are friendly with cats at this time** I've been called a dog whisperer on more than one occasion... Ever since I was a child (look through my photos for me as a kid hanging out with my pets!), I've always been around animals. I currently live with a Goldador, Sage, and a kitty, Roo, and have been pet sitting for many years and active on Rover for eight years. I have a flexible schedule and mainly work from home, which means I have time to do walks and exercise before work, during lunch, and/or after work every day. If you are interested in a timeframe that my calendar says I'm unavailable, please still reach out. I may be able to move some things around to make it work! I never leave the pups outside when I’m not home, and Sage and I like to keep a consistent schedule so that she knows when food, exercise, and downtime happen.

About: I've had pets growing up my whole life to play with, feed, bathe, walk, and ultimately love. I have also cared for other people's pets while they were out on vacation or just couldn't get home to do a feeding or walk. Whether it's just a handful instructions or having a full packet of instructions given to follow (true story!) I am able to support and care for pets. They're important and their needs are equally as important as ours and I appreciate being able to support. I work full-time remote so rest assured your fur babies will have someone around during the day! Aside from possible errands or going to the gym I should be able to be with your pet a good amount of time! I like to make sure and confirm that I understand the instructions a pet owner leaves for me. I also, if possible, like to meet the pets beforehand so that they get an opportunity to be around me at least once. I also like to communicate well with owners to send updates, and pictures to owners to provide proof of the care and the comfort of the pet. I am not shy to ask questions to clarify and also to ask for feedback if I can improve in anything or support further.
