“Rowan is super kind and reliable. Our pets both liked him inmediately, plus he dealt with an 80+ lbs recently adopted lab who pulls pretty hard and has SO much energy super well. Very appreciated!”

About: We are a loving household comprised of myself, my husband, our two kiddos and two sweet hound dogs. Frito is a yellow hound/lab mix who loves to sleep and hang with his family. Bacca is a coonhound with the attitude to match! He likes to express himself often and loudly, but can be a very chill guy once he's gotten his sniffs in. Both are friendly towards all kinds of other dogs. We have experience with dog sitting in our home and we have in the past fostered deaf dogs (through Deaf Dogs of Oregon rescue) while they are found their forever homes. Our house isn't large, but the dogs are basically in charge and we like it that way (they are our kids, along with our human kiddos!) We have a large fenced back yard for the pooches to run in as well. About this sitter: My husband works outside the home and my main job is stay at home mom to my two kiddos (so I'm home a lot!).I love hanging out with my dogs and kids most of the time. We like to hang out in the big back yard. My hubby is a big help with the dogs as well. Why I love dog sitting Both my husband and I grew up loving dogs. My family always had two or three dogs on my parents' 4 acre homestead. We always had big dogs, and a few wiener dogs. They were always part of the family. My husband Justin rescued our late dog Jughead when he was a puppy from a neglectful home, and trained him up to be an awesome dog, who we still miss very much. We adopted our dog Frito together when he was 8 weeks old and he's grown up in our care a very good boy. Our coonhound Bacca is good at very loudly expressing himself (especially when you first meet him!) but he really just wants to be everyone's friend and get pets and okay. About my yard We have a large backyard, about 1/3 of which is covered. The rest is open, with large pine and cedar trees in the back third of the yard near the back fence. We have couches that the dogs often run around, and over when they are playing. There isn't much grass (it won't grow) and the dirt gets a bit dusty when its dry. The dogs like to run, play, and lay out in the sunshine. I am a stay at home mom currently so I'm very flexible with accommodating your dogs needs. I'll be available for drop in visits and walks during the week while my kids are at school, and more often on the weekends if your pet is friendly around children. I have a large fully fenced back yard and two dogs too keep your dog company. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.
About: I have been a certified veterinary technician for 6 years. I've been taking care of pets ranging from fish, reptiles, dogs, and cats for pretty much my entire life! I also worked as a positive reinforcement dog trainer for a couple years while in tech school. As a veterinarian technician, I have experience administering medications and dog/cat CPR. I also have experience with fearful or reactive dogs. I am looking to make this full time so I am hoping to spend as much time w your pets as possible. I am currently open to booking any day of the week and can stay overnight. While I'm at home I am always cuddled up with one of my pets and it would be no different in your home! As a pet sitter/walker, my goal is to give your pets the attention they want and follow the routine you have! I want their time away from you to be as stress free as possible.

About: Loved and cared for my dog for 15 years but she has sadly passed; I also regularly dog-sit for friends. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and enjoy taking them for walks, on hikes, or playing at the park. I work well with any type of dog personality, high energy or shy. Whether your dog just needs a stop in visit or a walk, I will spend my time bonding with your pet and making sure that he/she is comfortable around me. My goal is to make a new furry friend and give it the attention and love it is missing while you are away from home! I will provide endless amounts of belly rubs and attention; it probably brings me just as much happiness as it does your pet! I can guarantee at least one really cute photo of your pet (most likely more) :)
“Our dog doesn't have a lot of experience with sitters, and Allison knew just how to patiently interact with her as she warmed up to her new friend. We're also going through a house move, so our pup and cats are going through lots of change. It feels good to know that Allison brings the experience we need as an animal lover.”

“Liliana is lovely and definitely has a connection with dogs. My little dog Nina doesn’t trust people at all and she immediately liked Liliana. I was tied up when she came to walk Nina and Nina barked and then went out with her without any fuss and without me being there! Liliana is professional, friendly and punctual. HIGHLY recommend!! NOTE: I would hire her weekly but my sister offered to help me - it’s not because Liliana isn’t the best!”

“Sharrah did great walking my anxious golden. Very sweet and interactive with her, took her on a nice long walk to a nearby park and wrote a detailed report with cute pics. Will definitely request her again!”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my beloved canine to Sequoia's trusting care. Not only was Sequoia punctual, she sent me pictures of my dog during their walk. This made me so happy at work!”

“Tommy is with his weight in gold! Flexible schedule, always reliable, thorough communication. He also knows how to handle my reactive dog and takes the time to work on training with him, and it shows in my dog’s behavior.”

“Lee is awesome! They are understanding and caring! Our dog is a lot to handle but Lee is really patient with him. Such a relief to have a dog walker who we can count on! Thanks Lee”

“Lucinda made multiple extra visits to my house (outside of scheduled walks) to try & get my very fearful dog to get to know her. She is very patient & understanding, I just wish my dog would be more cooperative! I appreciate how she went above & beyond to try & accommodate my scaredy cat dog. <3”

About: I have raised several dogs and cats. I have worked on training with high anxiety dogs, blind and deaf dogs, and have worked in the medical field so I am comfortable with medicine. I am going to be attending school full time so I will have plenty of days off and middle day hours to help walk or house sit. We have all sorts of toys, multiple kennels and baby gates, if the dogs need solo playtime. Treats and big open fields with fences in our apartment complex.
About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.
“Shianne is an exceptional dog walker! She's incredibly dependable, flexible, and has fantastic communication. She's also wonderfully sweet with our two corgis, and always makes sure they get a great workout. Our Lulu, who is obsessed with greeting people on her walks, especially loves her time with Shianne. She's my go-to person for our pups!”

“I am so grateful that Karly has been walking and checking in on my senior dog, Carl these past couple months. It is such a comfort to know that she is taking care of Carl while I'm away for a long work day!”
About: My pet care journey started years ago when I puppy-sat for my boss’s dog, Bugg. From there, friends, family, and coworkers began relying on me for pet sitting, walking, and in-home care, and word of mouth naturally led to more clients. I eventually adopted Bugg myself when he was about two, which deepened my experience with long-term, hands-on pet care. I’m comfortable with daily routines like feedings, playtime, park and trail walks, and administering medications. I treat every pet as if they were my own and pay close attention to their individual needs, personalities, and comfort levels. I also regularly house sit for others, caring for both pets and the home while clients are away. I’m reliable, respectful of routines and spaces, and focused on making sure pets feel safe and cared for — and that owners feel completely at ease. I work Monday through Thursday during the day and am available for pet care after 4:30pm on those days. From Friday through Sunday, I have full availability and can provide flexible care for walks, drop-ins, and in-home sitting. I do my best to accommodate routines and communicate clearly about scheduling. I can also watch your pets at my home. If you want extended care, I can walk/feed/play before work and available the rest of the evening after work I prioritize safety, routine, and clear communication in both my home and my clients’ homes. I follow care instructions closely, maintain a calm environment, and make sure pets are secure, supervised, and comfortable at all times. I’m attentive to leashes, doors, feeding schedules, medications, and any special needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and routines, keep things tidy, and handle basic home care tasks like bringing in mail or watering plants as requested. My goal is for pets to feel relaxed and for owners to feel confident that both their pets and home are being well cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of my dog since I was 10 and begged my parents for him. I adore all dogs and will treat yours like my own. I love being active and playing with dogs. This past year I’ve volunteered to walk dogs at the local shelter too. I am a student athlete in college, so responsibility and care is something I understand very well. I am a hard worker and will communicate every step of the way. I am a college student with a very flexible schedule and I am also starting summer break soon. I have plenty of time to care for pups and give them the love they deserve! I have lots of experience dog sitting in client’s homes and will treat your home like it is my own. Historic Milwaukie dog parents share their Rover experiences
Tommy has been absolutely wonderful with Basil from day one. He’s reliable, always on time, and his communication and updates throughout the week gave us real peace of mind. Most importantly, Basil came home happy and worn out after every walk — exactly what you want for a mini Aussie with endless energy! He clearly goes above and beyond, and we couldn’t be happier with this first week of our new weekly walking routine. He even did a meet and greet to help Basil get comfortable with him before we started out with the daily walks. Highly recommend!

Megan is great! I have a very reactive/slow to warm up dog and Megan has been patient and kind as he has warmed up. My dogs are also very energetic and needy. I feel at ease knowing Megan will take care of them on their daily walks. Megan always provides detailed notes on how the walk went. Megan is always on time and is very reliable. I would recommend Megan to any friend or family!

Michael is fantastic with our dog-reactive girl. He reads her to see when she'll be able to disengage, when she needs extra help or even when she's over threshold and needs to go home and get cuddles and treats instead. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our doggy on all your walks!
