About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

“Tanja was wonderful with our dog (goldendoodle puppy) She was very responsive to our last minute request for a week of dog walking and was very communicative regarding how the walks went (updates, pictures etc). Will definitely use her again!”

“New client soon to be regular here! Sequoia did an amazing job taking care of my dog during the heatwave. I appreciated her consideration in avoiding excessive heat exposure and her attention to detail in handling my leash reactive dog. Communication was great, photos are even better. Thanks so much Sequoia!”

“Jason has been walking my two small Dogs for several months daily for an hour and 1-2 mi, Ìf the small one Gets tired carries her. “My young dog really liked walking with Margaret. Margaret was reliable, positive and encouraging with my energetic dog, and I really appreciated the help during a time of necessary rest.”

About: Loved and cared for my dog for 15 years but she has sadly passed; I also regularly dog-sit for friends. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and enjoy taking them for walks, on hikes, or playing at the park. I work well with any type of dog personality, high energy or shy. Whether your dog just needs a stop in visit or a walk, I will spend my time bonding with your pet and making sure that he/she is comfortable around me. My goal is to make a new furry friend and give it the attention and love it is missing while you are away from home! I will provide endless amounts of belly rubs and attention; it probably brings me just as much happiness as it does your pet! I can guarantee at least one really cute photo of your pet (most likely more) :)
“Rowan is super kind and reliable. Our pets both liked him inmediately, plus he dealt with an 80+ lbs recently adopted lab who pulls pretty hard and has SO much energy super well. Very appreciated!”

About: I grew up on a farm and have experience caring for animals of all sizes, disabilities, and those that require senior care. I can do walks, drop in’s, and dog sit while you’re away. I’ve also adopted and raised two tuxedo kittens, giving me hands on experience with both dogs and cats. I genuinely love animals and understand how important it is for them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! I’m currently working mornings and I’m open Monday through Saturday after 12 PM. I prefer to have Sundays off and my mornings spent with my kittens. My biggest priority is to keep your furry baby safe, comfortable, and happy. I follow care instructions closely and maintain a safe environment. Whether we’re on a walk, playing, or relaxing at home, I’ll make sure your pet receives attentive care. I also believe in keeping owners updated with regular photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Shianne is an exceptional dog walker! She's incredibly dependable, flexible, and has fantastic communication. She's also wonderfully sweet with our two corgis, and always makes sure they get a great workout. Our Lulu, who is obsessed with greeting people on her walks, especially loves her time with Shianne. She's my go-to person for our pups!”
“I’ve left multiple reviews about Jordan thus far, but I’m leaving another one after my dog and I moved from Woodstock to Milwaukie. I feel that Jordan has helped my dog regain confidence and ease after moving to a new area of town. He was patient with the transition to our new building, and has been the constant she needed to get through a stressful moving time. I cannot recommend him enough!”

“Nathan was an ideal dog walker, reliable, punctual, communicative and flexible/considerate to our needs. He made our lives much less stressful for the month he walked our dog. Our dog loved him and we would hire him again in a heartbeat!”
About: I have been a certified veterinary technician for 6 years. I've been taking care of pets ranging from fish, reptiles, dogs, and cats for pretty much my entire life! I also worked as a positive reinforcement dog trainer for a couple years while in tech school. As a veterinarian technician, I feel confident administering medications, am comfortable with animals with medical conditions, and also know dog/cat CPR. I also have experience with fearful or reactive animals. I no longer work in a veterinary hospital so I able to spend as much time w your pets as needed. I am currently open to booking any day of the week and can stay overnight. While I'm at home I am always cuddled up with one of my pets and it would be no different in your home! As a pet sitter/walker, my goal is to give your pets the attention they want and follow the routine you have. I want their time away from you to be as stress free as possible. I do not let pets under my care socialize with unknown animals or people. I also do not do off leash activities unless in a fenced in area.
About: Hello👋 I would love to walk your dog on Mondays and maybe the weekend! If you live very close, I might be open to cat sitting as well! Unfortunately, life circumstance limits other opportunities at the moment. I have worked in the veterinary field for the past 8 years and have pet sat countless pets when I lived in Corvallis previously. I graduated with a b.s in zoology at OSU so you can say that animals are my life. I have an 8y/o German Shepherd husky mix, Grayson, and have grown up with large to giant breed dogs, some of whom were reactive. Hence, I am comfortable walking any size dog. Grayson is dog friendly (occasionally selective) if you ever wanted your dog to walk with a friend but not needed. I work 4 10s but have Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off to walk your dog. I can possibly cat sit if you live very close. Mondays are the most ideal day to walk your dog. I will treat your pet like the special and cute babies they are. I am very receptive to following through on training you have been working on with your dog on walks.

Jason will be your dogs (and) your Best Friend. They go on a morning daily- a mile plus - for an hour. Actually the 7 lb Daisy is a bit of a diva and when she wants to stop she is tucked inside his Jacket for the rest of her walk. The trio has friends from miles around Oak Grove.

Madeline has been absolutely wonderful with our two dogs, who couldn’t be more different in personality and needs. She’s incredibly attentive, patient, and clearly takes the time to understand each of them individually. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were both cared for in a way that suited them best.
