“Lee is awesome! They are understanding and caring! Our dog is a lot to handle but Lee is really patient with him. Such a relief to have a dog walker who we can count on! Thanks Lee”

“Shianne was fantastic! This was our second booking with Shianne and our dog was so happy to see her! Shianne has everything we would want in a dog walker - clear communication, patience and skill with dogs, warmth and professionalism. I'll definitely look to Shianne any time I can't walk my own dog in the future.”

About: We are a loving household comprised of myself, my husband, our two kiddos and two sweet hound dogs. Frito is a yellow hound/lab mix who loves to sleep and hang with his family. Bacca is a coonhound with the attitude to match! He likes to express himself often and loudly, but can be a very chill guy once he's gotten his sniffs in. Both are friendly towards all kinds of other dogs. We have experience with dog sitting in our home and we have in the past fostered deaf dogs (through Deaf Dogs of Oregon rescue) while they are found their forever homes. Our house isn't large, but the dogs are basically in charge and we like it that way (they are our kids, along with our human kiddos!) We have a large fenced back yard for the pooches to run in as well. About this sitter: My husband works outside the home and my main job is stay at home mom to my two kiddos (so I'm home a lot!).I love hanging out with my dogs and kids most of the time. We like to hang out in the big back yard. My hubby is a big help with the dogs as well. Why I love dog sitting Both my husband and I grew up loving dogs. My family always had two or three dogs on my parents' 4 acre homestead. We always had big dogs, and a few wiener dogs. They were always part of the family. My husband Justin rescued our late dog Jughead when he was a puppy from a neglectful home, and trained him up to be an awesome dog, who we still miss very much. We adopted our dog Frito together when he was 8 weeks old and he's grown up in our care a very good boy. Our coonhound Bacca is good at very loudly expressing himself (especially when you first meet him!) but he really just wants to be everyone's friend and get pets and okay. About my yard We have a large backyard, about 1/3 of which is covered. The rest is open, with large pine and cedar trees in the back third of the yard near the back fence. We have couches that the dogs often run around, and over when they are playing. There isn't much grass (it won't grow) and the dirt gets a bit dusty when its dry. The dogs like to run, play, and lay out in the sunshine. I am a stay at home mom currently so I'm very flexible with accommodating your dogs needs. I'll be available for drop in visits and walks during the week while my kids are at school, and more often on the weekends if your pet is friendly around children. I have a large fully fenced back yard and two dogs too keep your dog company. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.
About: I am passionate about the happiness of pets and their well-being. I am diligent about rewards based training. I have cared for 8 week puppies on up to my 15 year old senior dogs. I currently work Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm. I am available between 2pm-3:45 weekdays and all hours on weekends. I am flexible on Tuesdays and Fridays. I have rotating weeks where I am available for extended hours those days. I love taking dogs for walk immediately after work. I give pets the utmost love and attention. I love play time if the pet is into it, as well. Outdoor time if that is preferred with dogs if your dog enjoys walks, sniff-abouts, or fetch.
“Our dog doesn't have a lot of experience with sitters, and Allison knew just how to patiently interact with her as she warmed up to her new friend. We're also going through a house move, so our pup and cats are going through lots of change. It feels good to know that Allison brings the experience we need as an animal lover.”

About: I've been working with animals for over 10 years. Most recently, I worked at Oregon Humane Society for 3.5 years, and prior to my career with animals, I worked as a preschool teacher. Empathy and caretaking are integral to my personality. I believe that pets are family, and that's why I like to chat with clients before starting to work with their animal. Each pet has its own quirks, and every family has their own routines and priorities. I look forward to hearing more about your pet and beginning to work together! I'm available for pet care or walks seven days per week from 7am until 9pm, including holidays. I'm also available for pet sitting overnight in my home. Some more background info about me is that I have two Chiweenies (less than 20lbs each) and two domestic shorthair cats. When pet sitting in my home, I can sequester your pet(s) separate from mine if needed with one set of pets upstairs and the other downstairs. I will make the decision based on your feedback about your pet and my observations of their behavior once in my home.
About: I have raised several dogs and cats. I have worked on training with high anxiety dogs, blind and deaf dogs, and have worked in the medical field so I am comfortable with medicine. I am going to be attending school full time so I will have plenty of days off and middle day hours to help walk or house sit. We have all sorts of toys, multiple kennels and baby gates, if the dogs need solo playtime. Treats and big open fields with fences in our apartment complex.
About: As a lifelong animal lover, I have hands-on experience caring for pets all of kinds. I have a dog and two cats of my own, volunteer at the local shelter, and have fostered many kittens over the years. Working from home allows me to provide flexible and attentive care to your pets. Whether it's walking, bathing, feeding, training, or administering medication, separation anxiety. Your furry friends will be in loving hands with me! I offer FREE meet and greets to see if I would be a good fit for you and your pet(s)! **I don't have any recent reviews as I took a break from Rover to finish school out of town. I would love to get back into pet sitting as I have more free time now! I work remotely so I can be with your pets at all times of the day. If I am house sitting for you, occasionally I will leave for 1-2 hrs to go to the gym or getting something to eat. If your pet has separation anxiety, please let me know and I will stay with them the whole day. My family has always been pet oriented. I grew up with cats and dogs and know how to approach your pet safely if they are feeling shy. I've been walking dogs for 7+ years so you can be rest assured I will always come well equipped with supplies such as poop bags, leash connector (if you have multiple pups) water and a bowl.
About: All around animal lover - I’ve owned 5 medium/big dogs, 4 cats, a tortoise, a Guinea pig, frogs, and fish. I’d love to meet your pets, and pet, exercise, play with, or try to train them! I’ve trained my cat and three of my own puppies. I just decided to take a break from my career to focus on pet and child care, so I’m flexible on time. I can move most of my commitments around Rover jobs. I always make sure I come into a house quickly and carefully so pets don’t dash out the door. I never bring over food. I start out very calm and quiet to gain your pet’s trust - preferably using treats if available.

About: Growing up, dogs were an essential part of my family life. As a child, I eagerly looked forward to coming home from school to spend time with our Jack Russell Terrier, Lucky. I personally trained him in basic manners and tricks and made sure he got plenty of exercise. The energy and enthusiasm of a JRT sparked my lifelong love for caring for dogs of all kinds. Over the years, I began helping friends and family by walking and watching their pets whenever they needed an extra hand. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of caring for dogs ranging from tiny Chihuahua puppies to full-grown Irish Wolfhounds. My passion for animals is evident in the trust and lasting bonds I build with every four-legged friend in my care. I’m available most days for dog walks and home visits, and with advance notice, I can also accommodate extended stays. I’m flexible, reliable, and committed to meeting the unique needs of both you and your pets. When I care for pets in your home, I treat them like they’re my own. I prioritize making them feel safe and secure, ensuring their needs are met with compassion, and creating a joyful, engaging environment tailored to their personalities.
About: I grew up with several childhood pets- two golden retrievers, a husky-lab mix, and several fish and guinea pigs- and now I’m lucky to call two orange tabby cats my own! I have two years of pet sitting experience for family friends and other students in my grad school program. I am always happy to help out and meet new fuzzy friends! I am currently in school full-time, and I have time to pet sit or house sit through the week for pets that are okay alone for 4-6 hours at a time, depending on my class schedule. I am happy to provide overnight stays as needed! Your pets will get the most play time with me in the early mornings and evenings. I will also walk them once a day, if applicable, as I already make this a habit myself!
