About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I have been a certified veterinary technician for 6 years. I've been taking care of pets ranging from fish, reptiles, dogs, and cats for pretty much my entire life! I also worked as a positive reinforcement dog trainer for a couple years while in tech school. As a veterinarian technician, I feel confident administering medications, am comfortable with animals with medical conditions, and also know dog/cat CPR. I also have experience with fearful or reactive animals. I no longer work in a veterinary hospital so I able to spend as much time w your pets as needed. I am currently open to booking any day of the week and can stay overnight. While I'm at home I am always cuddled up with one of my pets and it would be no different in your home! As a pet sitter/walker, my goal is to give your pets the attention they want and follow the routine you have. I want their time away from you to be as stress free as possible. I do not let pets under my care socialize with unknown animals or people. I also do not do off leash activities unless in a fenced in area.

About: Loved and cared for my dog for 15 years but she has sadly passed; I also regularly dog-sit for friends. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and enjoy taking them for walks, on hikes, or playing at the park. I work well with any type of dog personality, high energy or shy. Whether your dog just needs a stop in visit or a walk, I will spend my time bonding with your pet and making sure that he/she is comfortable around me. My goal is to make a new furry friend and give it the attention and love it is missing while you are away from home! About: Hello👋 I would love to walk your dog on Mondays and maybe the weekend! If you live very close, I might be open to cat sitting as well! Unfortunately, life circumstance limits other opportunities at the moment. I have worked in the veterinary field for the past 8 years and have pet sat countless pets when I lived in Corvallis previously. I graduated with a b.s in zoology at OSU so you can say that animals are my life. I have an 8y/o German Shepherd husky mix, Grayson, and have grown up with large to giant breed dogs, some of whom were reactive. Hence, I am comfortable walking any size dog. Grayson is dog friendly (occasionally selective) if you ever wanted your dog to walk with a friend but not needed. I work 4 10s but have Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off to walk your dog. I can possibly cat sit if you live very close. Mondays are the most ideal day to walk your dog. I will treat your pet like the special and cute babies they are. I am very receptive to following through on training you have been working on with your dog on walks.

I’ve also adopted and raised two tuxedo kittens, giving me hands on experience with both dogs and cats. About: I have a very positive personality that I bring out in all work that I do. I am a practicing Speech Language Pathologist with a 3 year old pup of my own—Louie. I have taken care of pets through rover, as well as used it for my own pet care needs. I moved around the Portland area a bit, so I took a break from Rover, but now my life is more settled and I’m happy to take your fur-babies on walks, or drop in! I live in Mountain Park and would be happy to cover any “last minute” dog needs that you have. My schedule will allow for 1-3 walks/drop in visits per day. My most availability is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I pride myself in being thorough and paying attention to detail. I will follow any and all instructions that you provide. Having a dog of my own, I can supply poop bags and treats if necessary.
