Mikka has spent the day with them 2 times now while I go to work and Mikka is now "a regular" every week. She has developed few anxiety issues during the pandemic and can be a bit reactive around other dogs, so I've been very hesitant about doggy day care in any other capacity, but Allen has listened to my concerns and been extremely careful with keeping an eye on her or introducing her to any other dog he's watching or who is using the magical little private gated dog park behind his house. He's been super helpful in correcting some of her behavior issues (like a very loud persistent bark that has made me crazy!), sends photos and updates frequently, and is very quick to communicate even in between stays. I'm so relieved my anxious dog is getting playtime and has such good care that I can trust every Tuesday, and she's making new dog friends finally. Thank you, Allen!”

I've used daycare facilities for my little pug, Olive, in the past and she used to come home semi-traumatized by the experience. Definitely not the case with Susie. The second we pulled into her driveway, Olive had her tail wagging and couldn't wait to spend the day with Susie and family! Susie was sooo sweet and I know her daughter loved little Olive too...I can't speak highly enough of them. Seriously, if you're debating who to go with for your doggy...go with Susie. She is kind, extremely flexible, experienced and has such a warm and inviting home. About: Hello! I am a lifelong dog lover with personal and professional experience taking care of animals. I have worked as a dog daycare attendant managing up to 40 dogs at a time, but prefer to care for pets 1 on 1, so that they can get the individual attention that they deserve. I want to continue surrounding myself with animals and am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Husbandry. I love making dogs feel like they are loved and taken care of and work hard to ensure your dog feels right at home. I have experience working with all types of dog breeds and temperaments so I can recognize problematic behaviors before they begin and keep your dog safe and comfortable. If your dog is in need of basic obedience training, I can provide training services if you would like to see your dog learn a few more tricks during their stay, or work on certain behaviors. I am able to administer basic medication, and am usually able to make accommodations for any pups with special needs. If you have an adventurous dog, I enjoy hiking and would love to adventure with your pup throughout the beautiful Pacific Northwest, although I am also available for shorter walks as well. During the summer I am able to take your dogs swimming or provide swimming lessons. My highest priority is the safety and care of your pet at all times. I understand how scary boarding and daycare can be for both pets and their owners and aim to minimize stress as much as possible. I will give your pup that one on one time that you can’t get at daycare or boarding. I also have done basic grooming that includes bathes, nail trims, and brush outs and can provide those services as well in-home. I have also tended to emergency situations and know basic medical emergency care if needed. Note on dog size: I cannot take on larger dogs at the time, since I do reside in an apartment currently. If your big dog prefers to lounge around and doesn’t care about the space, I can do a 10 minute meet and greet to see if we are a good fit for you and your dog. I am currently working from home and have an open availability. I will need a week's notice before boarding if you have a dog over 40lbs so that we can schedule a meet and greet with my dog. I have a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with outdoor patio and currently have 1 pup of my own. Arwen is a 60lb Pyrenees mix who can play with high energy dogs, but also will lounge with any dog who likes to live life a little slower. We have walking paths by our complex, but also love to drive to any natural area trails for longer walks.
