“My Cleo can be a scaredy pup, even after the meet and greet, but Britney was so patient with her. Britney sent adorable photos and let me know that Cleo warmed up to her during the walk. Britney clearly loves animals and has a wonderful spirit - I will definitely be using her services again!”

About: (wfh) I recently learned that in Hawaiian, you don't call yourself your pet's owner. You are their Kahu. Kahu has many meanings, among them guardian, protector, steward, beloved, attendant. I am happy to help you care for your pet-babies. I have had dogs, cats, birds, fish, currently a dog and three parrots. I work from home so I am available to your pets consistently. I am very familiar with elder care as well. I am a somatic practitioner working from home, I have breaks of availability throughout the day most days and I am usually available evenings and weekends. My schedule is set 3 days out so I will know my schedule and be availability to commit. Plenty of affection, love, potty breaks, and tending to their needs. I am diligent in caring for your pet in the ways you outline/need. We cannot always know what they are thinking so I always err towards caution. Nervous system regulation often helps pets feel safe and secure - that is my goal with all creatures =)

About: Dog Sitting & Drop-In Visits I’ve spent over 15 years caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, including rescues and seniors who need a little extra patience and care. I’m calm and attentive, which helps pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s medication, playtime, or just some reassuring company, I make sure your dog feels cared for and understood. Cat Care As a lifelong cat owner, I know how much trust it takes to leave your feline family member in someone else’s hands. I’m gentle, observant, and happy to meet each cat on their own terms—whether that means playtime or quiet companionship. I’ll treat your cat with the same care I give my own two. I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week. My schedule is consistent but not locked into exact time frames, and I keep my Rover calendar up to date for easy booking. For house sitting: Because I can work remotely, I’m able to stay with your pets full-time during house-sitting stays. I’m available 24/7 while caring for your pets, ensuring they get consistent company, attention, and care. For drop-in visits and dog walking: My availability is as follows: • Sunday & Monday: after 5:00 PM • Tuesday & Wednesday: before 12:00 PM • Thursday–Saturday: available all day Please check my posted availability or reach out if you have specific timing in mind — I’ll do my best to make it work. I take pet safety seriously and always follow each owner’s instructions carefully. I double-check details, keep routines consistent, and make sure your home and pets are treated with respect. Whether I’m house sitting, walking, or stopping in for a visit, I make sure everything is done safely and just the way you prefer.
“What was so impressive was how far Kimberly walked my dog in a half hour. That is great exercise for my dog and now she is zonked out. I really like having a dog walker that exercises my dog and works out her energy.”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for dogs they bring so much joy, loyalty, and energy into our lives. Whether it’s going for a walk, playing fetch, or just spending quiet time together, I truly enjoy every moment I get to spend with them. Taking care of dogs isn’t just something I do it’s something I genuinely care about. I treat every dog like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved at all times. Being able to help pet owners while spending time with amazing dogs is something I’m truly passionate about. I currently don’t have a job and I am a full-time college student. I am home for the summer and I am free everyday all day. I always cuddle, play, walk, feed, and pay attention to my dog and I will pay attention to my clients dog and give them the love like it’s my own.

About: What truly sets me apart is the way I care for dogs as if they’re genuinely part of my family, not just a booking on my schedule. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, habits, and preferences so they feel safe, calm, and comfortable while you’re away. I know how important consistency is for dogs, so I follow instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walk routines, crate time, playtime, or bedtime rituals. I’m very patient and attentive, and I believe dogs thrive when they feel understood and emotionally secure. Some dogs need extra reassurance, others need structured activity, and some just want quiet companionship—I adjust my care to what your dog needs. I don’t rush interactions, and I’m happy to sit with them, talk to them, or simply be present so they don’t feel alone. I have experience caring for puppies, including reinforcing potty training, leash manners, basic commands, and helping them burn energy in a positive way. I’m also comfortable caring for senior dogs, offering slower-paced walks, extra breaks, medication reminders, mobility awareness, and gentle, loving attention. I pay close attention to behavior changes, appetite, and energy levels, and I communicate clearly and promptly with updates so you always feel at ease. Safety, trust, and communication are extremely important to me. I respect your home, your rules, and your dog’s boundaries, and I treat every situation with responsibility and care. My goal is for you to feel complete peace of mind knowing your dog is not only being cared for—but loved, protected, and treated like family while you’re away 🐾🤍 Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I have full availability right now and can truly dedicate my time and attention to the pets I care for. Since I don’t have a traditional work schedule at the moment, I’m able to be flexible and fully present—whether that means early morning walks, mid-day check-ins, extended stays, or last-minute needs. My days are structured around the pets in my care. I plan my routine to prioritize feeding schedules, walks, playtime, training reinforcement, rest, and one-on-one attention. I’m home often, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and a calm environment—especially important for puppies, senior dogs, or pets who don’t do well being left alone for long periods. Because my schedule is open, I’m able to adjust easily to each pet’s unique routine rather than forcing them to adapt to mine. I also have the time to send regular updates, photos, and messages so pet parents always feel connected and reassured. Caring for pets isn’t something I squeeze in—it’s something I intentionally make space for every day, treating it as a responsibility I take seriously and with love 🐾🤍 I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs of my own who are used to being around other pets. They are calm, gentle, and do well sharing space, which helps visiting dogs feel more comfortable and at ease. I always prioritize safe, supervised interactions and take introductions slowly to make sure everyone is comfortable. If a dog prefers their own space, I fully respect that and can separate as needed. Having my own dogs has given me hands-on experience with daily care, routines, and reading dog behavior, and it’s taught me the importance of patience, structure, and consistency. My goal is always to create a safe, positive environment where every dog feels secure, respected, and treated like part of the family . My backyard is fully secure and closed off and our home is open to all pups as well🐾🤍

Many of this experience comes from keeping my own animals or working closely with others’ animals. At the moment, I have two dogs- Higgins and Rikki- who are rambunctious and silly Boston Terriers. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - La Habra
I can’t say enough good things about Britney. I needed help on very short notice due to some health issues and she immediately stepped in. She came by right away to meet me and my dogs, and then graciously agreed to walk them twice a day for several days. She has been incredibly kind, reliable, and communicative throughout. Most importantly, she is wonderful with my dogs—they took to her right away and are so happy and eager each time they see her. She’s always punctual and keeps me updated, which gives me such peace of mind. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker or sitter.
Samantha has been great walking my moms silky terrier! She has been punctual and very kind and I am so thankful that we found her on Rover. We have arranged a half hour walk and a separate hour long walk and plan to continue using Samantha. I would recommend her!
I highly recommend Alex as a dog walker! He did a great job walking my dog. He's detail-oriented and does training with her during the walk, so she's not tempted to bark at squirrels and bikes (which she sometimes barks at). He also pays attention to make sure she doesn't eat anything off of the ground. He even runs with the dog sometimes, to get her energy out.

Eric arrived to our house on time and ready to take our little fur babies on their walk. He was very gentle and caring as he put on their leashes and got them excited for their walk. Upon his return he shared photos that he took of them on their little excursion!!! We will definitely call him again to come back for their daily walks, check ins and dog sitting when we are away!!!!! He was pleasure to work with from the beginning to end!! Thank you Eric!!!
