About: Animals have always been family in my home. I had a Terrier who I cared for throughout every stage of life into their elderly years, which gave me experience with senior dog care, patience, and understanding changing needs as dogs age. About: Hiya! My name is Jessica and I love animals! I have a happy and healthy guinea pig at home named Zoe. I used to work at Banfield Animal Hospital and currently work at an animal hospital in Whittier so I have experience with illnesses and giving medication if needed. I also used to work for Petsmart for 5 years, and for 2 of those years I worked in the pets hotel taking care of the cats and dogs. This included cleaning up after them, feeding them snacks and meals, and providing playtimes and walks. I also supervised up to 14 dogs at a time during group playtimes. I also went to school to become a Vetrinary Technician and I am currenty working on getting my registration licence. Each animal has their own personality, and I love getting to know every single animal to discover those personalities because it's the cute little quirks that make them so loveable! I work at a local animal hospital, so currently Rover is my side hustle, so to speak. My work schedule is pretty regular, with being free in the evenings for drop-ins and always available for house-sitting. Caring for fur babies at your home or where you will be staying if visiting will vary as rules are different for each pet. One thing I can guarantee is that all animals will be brought in at night. Cats will never leave the indoors and dogs will always be leashed on walks or when outside. PLEASE READ: While I am working as a vet assistant, due to certain experiences, I do not house sit for pets with major skin conditions. Unless they have seen a vet and are being treated with shampoos and topical creams, which I am happy to apply while I watch them, I reserve the right to refuse a sitting job once I see the pet’s condition during the meet and greet. I am happy to do drop ins for these pets whether they are being treated or not, but will not be spending the night or an extended period of time in the home. Thank you for your understanding.

About: I’ve loved and taken care of dogs since I was a child myself! From Pomeranians, to terriers, to huskies, I enjoy caring for them all. Your dogs will love hanging with me and going for walks. I have a very quiet, stress-free home (just me and my husband) which will especially be great for dogs that are sensitive to loud noises. I will do all I can to make sure they are treated like family and feel comfortable with me. Whether you need overnight boarding or day care on the weekends, I’m happy to help! I work Monday-Friday as a school counselor and I get home around 3:30pm. My husband works from home. I have a one bedroom apartment with pretty open space. We’re in a neighborhood where I can safely take your dog for walks or outside to use the restroom. We do not have a fenced yard… but there is a grassy area for your pets to use the restroom right outside my place as well as many other grassy areas when we go for walks.

About: I love animals. All my life I have had at least one dog growing up. I have my own mixed Australian Shepard who I love very much. I got her during the pandemic as a puppy and completely trained her on my own. I am currently studying for the law school entrance exam. About: I have had a dog since i was 12 years old, the first dog i had was a chihuahua/miniature pinscher named Dinky. He was an older doggo but he was very active and could run super fast. A few years having Dinky I went to Mexico for a trip and came back with a 5 week old puppy named Ruby, she is a Small Griffon Basset Vendeen. I was able to potty train Ruby and still give attention to Dinky since he had gotten his teeth removed a bit before i got back, Dinky was a grumpy dog so at first he didn’t like Ruby but a few weeks later he got used to her and I trained her not to jump or push Dinky since he was a very small dog, he weighted just under 5 pounds and Ruby was 6 pounds almost 7. I have been my family’s pet sitter for about 4 years now and I feel very good knowing they have that trust with me and seeing how happy their pets react when they see me. All dogs have different personalities and I am always happy to adapt to it! I currently go to school twice a week so that gives me plenty of time for pet care! I am free any day to start pet sitting:) I try to spend time with them when they have energy and once they get tired I give them their space so that I don’t bother them. If the pet is at their home I let the pet smell me so they get comfortable and I try to stay in one spot or room so they have the option of going to another room when they want their own space and when they want attention or get comfortable enough then I try to make sure they have fun!

About: I was a Veterinary technician for 5 years in both a Veterinary Clinic setting and at the Humane society. I am currently a Veterinary student pursuing a doctorate of veterinary medicine.
