What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with a wide range of pets. I grew up with large herding dogs, so I’m very comfortable handling big, high-energy breeds. I have gone through multiple training courses I’ve learned effective ways to keep dogs engaged, exercised, and well-behaved. I understand the different needs and personalities of both cats and dogs. Whether it’s puppy training, senior care, or managing pets with lots of energy, I bring patience, consistency, and a genuine love for animals.

I care for pets the same way I would care for my own—with patience, consistency, and lots of attention. At my home, that means daily walks, playtime, and making sure pets get both exercise and mental stimulation. In a client’s home, I follow their established routines so pets feel comfortable and secure, whether that’s feeding on a schedule, sticking to training cues, or keeping up with walks and play. I always tailor care to each pet’s needs and personality, so they feel safe, loved, and well cared for.

I highly recommend Alex as a dog walker! He did a great job walking my dog. He's detail-oriented and does training with her during the walk, so she's not tempted to bark at squirrels and bikes (which she sometimes barks at). He also pays attention to make sure she doesn't eat anything off of the ground. He even runs with the dog sometimes, to get her energy out.
Alex did a great job handling my dog, who can be a bit of a handful. He does training on walks and runs with her, to make sure she gets her energy out. Professional, calm, and great with dogs and cares a lot about them. I highly recommend Alex!
Alex is an amazing and caring pet lover. Over the years he has watched my family's pets which have included a dog and a couple cats. I can always trust that my pets are in amazing hands when I ask Alex to pet sit.
