About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Cristina did an incredible job housesitting with our three dogs and is truly a professional. She is very thorough, closely follows instructions around care, and goes above and beyond around even her presence in your home. She was very responsive, affirmatively let us know when /if issues or questions arose, and was easy to communicate with around our departure/ arrival times. We were able to enjoy 10 days away knowing our dogs were extremely well cared for and our home being looked after. 100% hope to work with her on an ongoing basis.
Corinne was great - our dogs are very suspicious to everyone they meet, but Corinne made friends with them very fast. She send us daily updates and pictures and we felt that they are in good hands. I would not hesitate to book Corinne again - and I hope she will be available than as well.
