As I am finding new routines frequently and have learned that I need a lot of variety in my life, I have learned that drop in visits and housesits have helped me to stay focused, find stability and I am able to have the flexibility to pursue other goals and opportunities that come up. My schedule varies from day to day so communication is key.

Growing up with pets, it was always really laid back and a place of calm and comfort with cats, dogs, birds, snakes and fish. As an adult, I adopted my little sister’s pup and my mom’s old girl dog. We worked hard getting to the calm after the chaos. Meditation and exercise became the fundamental structure of a new routine in rebalancing, refocusing and recuperating from the stresses and challenges life gives us. It’s important to me that my clients have a peace of mind and their pets have a place of comfort. Walks are my best friend and are so important to a dog’s health, especially when they have anxiety and high stress levels.
Information Leah B. would like to know about your pet
Let me know what I can do to help! I’ve had great feedback back about anxious pets, if you have an anxious pet, I just want to remind you that it’s okay to breathe 🧘🏻♀️ you’re doin great Mama/Papa! Side note: If your pets bat, hiss, growl, snarl or bite, even if it’s playful, PLEASE 🙏 Let me know.
A typical day
I’m sure whatever your pet needs, it’s an area I may be lacking in creativity. Short training sessions always give me a new focus and help me to understand your pet better. Starting with a morning walk or having one before bed boosts everyone’s mood and helps to relieve the intense energy (excited and anxious) that may be pent up. Frisbee and tug. And well… I’m adapting to hide and seek for those kitties who just want to be, or just want to be alone. Karaoke Ukulele Meditation Movie nights Cloud gazing Swimming Long naps

Leah did a great job taking care of my baby boy and keeping me informed!

We recently rebooked with Leah, and she was just as fantastic this time around! We’ll totally have her back to watch our cats anytime.

Kept my dog excellent company while I was gone, walked her, did her puzzle games, took great care of my wild birds and indoor and outdoor plants, excellent communication, sent lots of photos, updates, and videos. Gave me such peace of mind while I was away! Thank you thank you, Leah!! Will definitely be hiring her in future!

We LOVE Leah!! She is reliable, trustworthy, kind, and gentle. She is so great with our house and furry family ❤️❤️ thanks, Leah!!
