I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!

Let me know if your dog has any specific needs or behaviors so I can be sure to accommodate for that. I am open to caring for all breeds, no matter how big or small, as long as they are comfortable with strangers. I do require a meet and greet before services start so your pet is more comfortable around me when you aren’t around.
A typical day
Let me know your dogs favorite activities! I love walking and hiking and playing any games they enjoy. I regularly take my own dog out to restaurants and brew pubs with dog friendly patios, so if you and your dog are comfortable, I would love to do that too! I’m able to accommodate anything, so if you want your dog staying at home or in your neighborhood, I will make sure they still have a fun and exciting time.

Pet care experience
I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them.
