About: Rhinebeck local with a 30 minute lunch break. Available for overnight in-home and/or dog walking services. Experience with giving oral medication. Big dogs and puppies welcome! Kitties and small animals, too! Minimal experience with reptiles (only leopard geckos) but I can watch them with care instructions. Generally I work early morning to early afternoon. No earlier than 5:30 and no later than 6:00 p.m. Weekends included. My days off are usually Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday. There are some exceptions as my schedule varies week to week. But I can and frequently do work around customers' schedules, especially with advanced notice! I am diligent in keeping an eye on animals in the home. Especially puppies/potty training animals. When we are out taking a walk (for dogs) I will cross to the other side of the street and not greet other dogs, even if yours is friendly. Better to be safe than sorry! Same goes for dog parks. We can go, but I will keep a close eye on any animals and leave if things get too hot.

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a child, with many family dogs and cats throughout my life - all local rescues. I live alone in a house (with fully fenced yard) in uptown Kingston with my 8y.o. coonhound mix Charlie who is very friendly and gets along with other dogs. My house is located near Forsyth park which is a great spot to take dogs for a scenic walk and playtime. I work a computer job from home full time M-F and am always available to care for the pets I board. Regular potty breaks are no problem. Dogs are welcome throughout the entire house including my home office. My house has a large completely fenced-in yard, and my dog Charlie is eager to make new friends to play with. Crating is no problem- I have a small and large crate, dog beds, and dozens of toys they can choose from. I keep my home clean and I do not smoke.
“Katherine far exceeded any expectations I had for my dog’s care. Katherine always changed the water and put out a lunch I would leave for my dog as well as a biscuit when she left…Katherine gave nice long walks and was always on time and usually gave more than the normal 30 minutes! Sadie loved her…I’ll be using Katherine again!”

About: I love to admire and take care of pets, I’m very patient with animals and will take the time to better understand them. I’m also very open to any kind of training if necessary. I work weekdays until 5pm. And then have the rest of the day for walking dogs or feeding cats. Looking for about 2 hours of dog walking at the end of the day during the weekdays. I have an suv car so I can offer lots of space for a bigger dog and I have a very watchful eye and will make the best judgment calls to my ability.

About: Hi there! I’m Gaby, and I’ve been caring for beloved animal friends, including dogs, cats, (and even ducks!) for private clients over the past six years. Whether it’s a daily walk, an overnight stay, or simply some loving company while you’re away, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m reliable, experienced, and passionate about what I do, and I’m now expanding my pet care services through Rover to reach even more furry (and feathered) friends. References from long time clients are happily available upon request. I believe trust is everything when it comes to your pets. Let’s connect! I’d love to meet your companions and be part of their happy, healthy routine. My schedule is flexible in the evenings and on weekends, which means I can accommodate night visits, drop ins, and extended weekend stays with ease. Caring for animals is a grounding and joyful part of my routine. Whether it’s early morning feeds before class, relaxing evening walks, or playful visits on weekends, I prioritize each animals' comfort and happiness as part of my daily flow. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine and trainings as consistent as possible with feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddles all happen on schedule to keep them comfortable and happy. I respect your space, clean up after all visits, and make sure your pet feels calm and safe until you return. When caring for pets in my own home, I create a welcoming, low stress environment with plenty of attention, enrichment, and comfort. “Vicki is one of the most caring and responsible people I know. Her love of animals is unmatched. There is no one I would trust more. I know her pets get the best of everything, and she cares for them immensely. She has a way with animals; they always love her - no matter cat, dog, bird, hamster, whatever. She's like Snow White. I swear. You will never find someone better to take care of your pets.”
