About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was a child. My family has had all sorts of pets from cats and dogs to fish and turtles to bunnies and hermit crabs! I am a pet lover and find joy in giving all sorts of animals cuddles and love :) I am currently taking 2 graduate courses a week at PSU and have time to care for pets before or after my classes. I live in Tigard but will also be commuting to Portland weekly. Pet care is something I can do almost daily! I love to create a routine for myself and intend to make pet care part of that. I value pet-parent communication greatly! Making sure I have an understanding of the animals needs and where all the tools I need to best care for your baby are. I believe caring for a pet in their home is best for the pet and myself so the pet can feel most comfortable and I know everything they will need is in the house!

“We had to book a last minute sitter and Kathryn did not disappoint. Even our cat who is scared of everyone came out to say hello to Kathryn! Kathryn was kind, great with communication and made sure the experience was as easy as can be. Would definitely have Kathryn watch our pets again.”

“Jennifer was amazing with our cats! She sent daily pictures and notes about how they were doing. She had a knack with getting cats to play. Would recommend her and would like to have her back next time!”

About: I grew up with 3 dogs and have been a pet sitter pretty much my entire childhood and well into adulthood. I have experience with following strict diet plans and administering medication. I’m a teacher off for the summer so I am free pretty much 7 days a week, any time of day. I have a short appointment on Thursdays at 1pm but other than that, I’m free as a bird! I’m familiar with different strategies on how to keep pets in the house (I grew up with 3 runners!) and safely tucked away in their crates if needed.

“She did a fantastic job taking care of my cat! Communication was great throughout, and I really appreciated the extra touches like checking on my plants and bringing in packages. Highly recommend!”

About: We honor the spaces of pets and allow them the time to become comfortable. We always assure they feel safe, and know we are a guest in their space or they are an honored guest in our family home. We love spending time with animals and have been fortunate to provide care to friends animals overnight and for daily care. My husband and I work full-time, on opposite schedules. We are available evenings during the week and weekends. During the week, we are more than happy to board pets as needed. I work from home, and he works only a few days a week. We have a fenced yard and we live in a dog lover neighborhood. We take our friends dogs on walks often, as needed. We have cared for family and friends dogs overnight and they all enjoyed their time at our home. We tend to spoil pets (based on parents discretion of course) while they are with us. Our home is their home, and we never want a pet to feel unsafe or unhappy while spending time with our family. Our family will care for them like our own.

Jennifer & Kenneth K.
“Jennifer is a true animal lover through and through. She takes the utmost care of her own pets, and when I was out of town, she went above and beyond looking after my dogs and cat. Not only did she make sure they were well-fed, exercised, and loved, but she also kept me updated and flagged any concerns she noticed so I could take action if needed. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in such capable and caring hands. Jennifer will treat your pets as if they were her own—with love, attention, and genuine care. I can’t recommend her enough!”

Lila took great care of our two 10-month-old kittens, Mocha and Ollie. This was the first time we were leaving them so we were rather anxious but Lila did a great job getting them to be comfortable with her during her visits and communicating with us. I would highly recommend her.

Hannah took wonderful care of our cats, rat, and chickens while we were out of town for a week. She also watered my plants, got the mail, and took care of putting the cans on the curb. The photos and detailed updates she gave everyday were so thoughtful and sweet and I would recommend her in a heartbeat! Your home and pets will be well cared for.

I love the pictures of the kids! I love that Muffin came out and played! You were so wonderful to them.... maybe too wonderful... they seemed slightly disappointed when I came through the door on my return home. Adriana was very timely with the appointments and the communication was spot on. Thank you for watching the furballs. I would love to have you over again!
