About: I’m a pre-vet student who just graduated from UVA and has grown up with two large dogs! I’ve also recently owned a hamster from a college lab! I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I also have about 100 hours of dog walking experience from a shelter so I am comfortable with reactive/fearful/energetic dogs, and another 100 from shadowing at a vet practice. I am currently looking for a vet assistant job so my schedule is open 7 days a week! I am used to all day pet sitting. Anne took wonderful care of our dogs for two days in our house, and we really appreciated her care. One of our boys is very old and struggles to walk sometimes and has had some trouble eating, so it meant a lot knowing Anne was so attentive to his needs. She was responsive and great with both of our dogs. Due to travel for work, it’s difficult for me to be away from our boys, and Anne sent lots of great pictures and kept me updated on everything they were doing. She was also excellent at responding to all my questions and concerns. We trust her completely to care for them like they were her own, and we would definitely recommend her.
Elisabeth did a great job for us on July 11. She was prompt, arriving when I asked her to come, followed my instructions and communicated and sent pictures throughout the day. Came home after a long day to happy, stress free dogs. We will definitely reach out to her again if her availability allows. 👍
YASMEEN IS AWESOME!! Yasmeen cared for my two cats and my home for two and a half weeks while I was out of the country. I cannot say enough good things about her. At our meet and greet, she was warm and friendly and asked excellent questions. Any anxiety I had about being gone for so long disappeared after meeting Yasmeen. While I was gone, Yasmeen was proactive in sending updates, pictures and video of the cats. One had just started needing medicine with her meals, and Yasmeen handled that with ease. I could tell from the video updates that my cats felt comfortable with her - and in fact one of them shared lots of cuddles and play time. When I returned, my house was just as I left it, and the cats were happy and healthy. I'm sure they miss her! I am so grateful to Yasmeen and will definitely work with her again!
